OOC: Hopefully this doesn't piss anyone off. It's just a corny promo designed to entertain.
Sitting in a corner booth of the local classy bar William Bekowsky takes a drink of his scotch. The booth curves around the back so it is a big U shape. There's enough space for ten people or so. He has on a nice black suit with a silver dress shirt and a nice striped tie. Alex Arren sits not to far from him at the other end of the U. He has on a light blue dress shirt with brown vertical stripes, a black vest and no tie. His hair is tied back into a ponytail, and of course he has on a black slip on bandana. One of those bandana's you'd just slip on your head as opposed to tying it at the back. See Matt Taven if you don't know what I mean. The walls are a dark brown; deeper than that of Alex's shirt. Upon it there are pictures of older celebrities that have graced the bar with their presence. Some of your standard celebrities are up there. A signed Elvis picture, The Beatles, Tony Bennett, and of course Frank Sinatra. On either side of the Sinatra photo are sconces that add a layer of ambiance to the scene. Alex is leaned back and has a cigar in his mouth; in front of him is a rum and coke on the rocks.
William Bekowsky: "I'm sitting in a luxury box, the year's 2011. Thunderstruck IV. I'm watching the matches when Taylor McCallister bursts in in a panic. He goes 'Bill, the ratings are down and I don't know what to do. If we keep going on like this I'll be bankrupt!' I go Wallstreet, 'calm down a bit. There's no need to panic. What's your finish for the main event?' He tells me Matt Matlock is going over for the strap."
He shrugs.
William Bekowsky: "Victor McCreedy was now in charge of the ICWA roster, so I tell him, 'Why not join together the forces of Tommy Bennett Enterprises Incorporated and the Bryce Corporation. Throw Drew Stevenson as the in-ring leader of the group. Meanwhile, the true leader is Victor McCreedy. Have Drew Stevenson win the strap and have this new committee, this Executive Committee make it all possible through interference.' He wasn't quite sure about putting the title on Stevenson, but I told him not to worry. With Stevenson at the helm the ratings would shoot right up, and the company would be alive and kicking. He goes, 'well I suppose we could try that'. And the rest... as they say, is history."
The camera fades away.
