Failure:
Prince Abdullah Assad: What can I say?
Prince Assad is in a black suit. He is not very happy, as there seems to be tension in the room. He is tapping his fingers together as he stands looking out a window. He doesn’t turn around to look at the camera he just keeps looking off in the distance seemingly looking for something but not finding it.
Prince Abdullah Assad: I was supposed to win that match.
Prince Assad slams the window with a fist. He clutches his fist tighter after trying to hide the pain.
Prince Abdullah Assad: But no, now we have to listen to Hayden Phoenix wax poetically about how he won. How he beat me and how he is not somehow better than me because he beat me once. Now I have to listen to how he is going to win this big match and be included in the chance to win the title. It has become rather annoying and I have become sick of him.
I have failed and I get it. I wanted to win that match because I wanted to be last in this match. I wanted to have the advantage against all of the losers that I have to face in that ring. But alas I am not alas I have to fight and win this match. But I want to do something above that. I will let you in on a little secret.
Prince Assad turns around and leans against the wall so his back is almost against the window. He looks at the camera with a deep glare and shoots a cocky smile.
Prince Abdullah Assad: The little deep dark secret I have is that Hayden isn’t going to win this match. I will make sure that he doesn’t. You see that is my mission in life now is to make his stay here in RWD a painful one. It has to be done that way because I need to prove to him that he might have beaten me once but he isn’t better than me. He can’t be better than me and he never will be better than me. I know this match is going to be full of other people and you know what I really don’t care. I don’t care who I have to throw over the top rope because I will. I just want Hayden and I am going to get him. I am going to throw him over the rope and I am going to cost him this match. He needs to feel what I have felt the past few weeks and that is failure.
I have looked at myself in mirrors and everything and I am supposed to be this religious zealot. I was supposed to be the one walking backstage and people would cower in fear over me. They would hide from me and they wouldn’t talk down about me, but what have I become? I have become someone that walks down to that ring and isn’t able to get out of it with a win. Canadians have beaten me.
Prince Assad shakes his head he looks down feeling shame he looks up his eyes are now showing that he means business.
Prince Abdullah Assad: I don’t want to be a failure anymore. I can’t be that failure anymore. I had all of this momentum and it was growing and it was getting better and better and then I smacked into a wall and now I can’t fix it. Now I am lost and now I am looking at myself and saying really Kruzer and Hayden Phoenix are better than you? How can you live with yourself?
Prince Assad laughs he walks around the room with his hands behind his back he speaks with passion and ready to drop the truth on everyone.
Prince Abdullah Assad: I’m now becoming what every single person in this company wants me to be. What every fan that watches this company wants me to be and that is a loser. That is someone that walks into that ring wears a turban and can’t do anything. I am not becoming what I didn’t want to be. I have to change what has happened to me, I have to get into that ring and spit in everyone’s face and just smile at what I am going to do to this whole roster.
This match with 9 other men is going to be a hard match and I know that but every single other man in this match knows it as well. I am not going to talk about every single person in this match. All I am going to talk about is what I need to do to win.
Now I know what you are all saying it is simple you damn-darn-tootin-terrorist , yous just gots to throw everyone out of the ring over-that-there-darn-top-rope. Giggty-giggty-gottite-goo.
Prince Assad shakes his head and spits on the floor.
Prince Abdullah Assad: I know what you have to do in this match. I know you have to throw everyone out of it. Simply put I am going to do that. You see I know I will be the most hated man in this match. I know that every single one of the other people in this match is going to want to be the man that throws me out of the ring. It’ll be like they have just saved America from tyranny. I know I will have to watch my back every single moment of this match and I know that I might not even have a shot in this match. But it is what it is and I am going to rise up and I am going to win it. I don’t care who is in this match because everyone wants the same thing in this match. It would be stupid to whine and complain about every single guy in this match.
Now you might be wondering why I say that but it is simple. All this match takes is one mistake and it is over just like that.
Prince Assad snaps his fingers. He nods his head and cracks his knuckles.
Prince Abdullah Assad: One mistake and you are gone. One mistake you are over that top rope and you have to go back to the drawing board. Or you can be the one that gets your hand raised and all you have to worry about is a triple threat match for the title. That is what I want and that is what I need to do. I need to win this match and go into that triple threat match and I need to win the title.
Now, you might think that I am overlooking this match but I don’t care. When I look at everyone in this match I want to beat them all and I want to look into their faces and I want them to fear me again. I want them to look at me and see that I am good and that no matter who I face I can beat them. I need this match to right myself to fix the sinking ship that I have somewhat become. Maybe I am not dirty enough, maybe I need to do what I did before and that is win by any means necessary. I have lost that along the way and I have Hayden to thank for that.
Maybe he has stepped up his game and I have started to lose mine. Maybe I need to refocus and maybe I need to not care what I do, I just need to do what I have done before. This match is going to be one that is going to be hard and I have said that before but it is true. Everyone is going to be after me. None of them want to see me win because they are scared of what I will do if I win. They don’t want me to win because they know that I will hang it over their heads every chance I get. They don’t want me to win because I will become all powerful and I will be what they fear the most. That is an Arab in control.
Prince Assad nods his head and he goes back and looks out the window.
Prince Abdullah Assad: That is what this company needs though.
They need me in control. As much as they hate me they want me there because what would happen if I was the first ever champion here in RWD. The fans would talk about me people would watch and people would boo me and they would want to see who would step up against me. I would take all of them down and I would keep going and going and no one would stop me. No one could and that is what I want and that is what I need. I need to win this match and go on and be in the main event and win that title. I need that title I need for people to fear me once again. If I don’t win though I know what I need to do and that is cost Hayden Phoenix. I don’t want him to win because I don’t want to hear him talk anymore. He has become a nat to me and I need to squash him. I know just beating him wouldn’t be as sweet as me winning the whole thing but it would be second best. He is going to do all he can do to do the same thing to me. I know he wants to do that because well he is a bitter, bitter man. I know I sound bitter as well but I don’t care. If Hayden and I lose this match I know what I want to do I want him in a one on one match. I want that because I want to prove to him and the rest of the RWD that I am still better than him. I am sick of hearing my name come out of his mouth. I want to shut him up and what better way to shut him up then costing him this match. He wants to do the same with me and I get that but I know I have the bullseye on my back. I know I am the one that no one wants to win. I know the fans want me to lose and I know that if I lose they will cheer when my hands meet the floor. It will be another failure, and I can’t have another failure. I need to win and I want to rub it in the faces of every single one of you.
Prince Assad points to the camera and shakes his head.
Prince Abdullah Assad: I need this match and I will get it. This is my time to become what I always have wanted to be and that is a champion. I will enter that ring as one of ten but I will be leaving as the winner. Hayden won’t win, no one else will win just me. I am rising to the top, because I am the Prince and I am the savior of the RWD and I might as well start saving it in this match.
Prince Assad smiles and he walks out of the room as the scene fades to black.
