I wanted to further Shawna and Arty while still keeping the original idea of Marie possibly becoming #1 contender in tact. Let me know if you think anything should be changed. When I talked to Shelley my idea for Shawna is to have her be somewhat of an ambrose with Arty and really just want to get her hands on her but have the authority figure say no, so she has to do it her way kind of thing. So that was my thinking with the segment. Let me know though if it's sort of random.
“Bo$$” by Fifth Harmony plays as we come back from a break. The fans get to there feet with cheers for the lovely GM Elliott Channing. She steps out onto the stage, a smile on her face as she makes her way down the ramp.
Brenden Reynalds - Ladies and gentlemen please welcome to the ring, she is one half of the RWD General Managers, ELLIOTT CHANNINGGG!
The crowd cheers again as Elliott makes her way over to the side and up the stairs, she makes her way into the ring through the bottom and middle rope.
Matthew Baily - Elliott Channing is coming out here which can only mean she has news about the RWD women’s division. She has certainly had her hands full with all of them lately.
West Newhaven - That’s because they’re all jealous of the greatest champion of all time, Artemis Kaiser!
Elliott is handed a mic on the side and makes her way to the middle of the ring, raising it.
Elliott Channing - It is great to be here in Biloxi, Mississippi!
Elliott starts off and gets a pop, she smiles to herself.
Elliott Channing - As most of you probably know my job as general manager is to manage the RWD women’s division. When we first started our journey as a company I made it clear that I would be watching closely to name a number one contender for the RWD Women’s championship. I have seen some amazing things out of the women thus far and tonight you all are in for a treat when you get to see the RWD women’s champion, Artemis Kaiser in action for the first time!
The crowd fills with boos for the women’s champion. Elliott seems to have expected that.
Elliott Channing - Of course she’ll be going up against the “Bubbly one” Marie Porter.
Cheers ring out once again and Elliott nods her head.
Elliott Channing - Speaking of which, Marie could you come out here?
The crowd cheers again as they anticipate Marie’s arrival. It takes a few seconds but “Stereo Hearts” begins to play through the system much to Elliott’s delight. Marie comes out already dressed in her ring attire. She dances around a little bit, but gets to the ring rather quickly.
Matthew Baily - Could Elliott be naming Marie as the number one contender?
West Newhaven - Not if she knew what was best for Marie.
Marie slaps the hands of a couple of fans before getting into the ring. She grabs a mic from the Brenden.
Marie Porter - Alright, Elliott, I am here and ready to PARTTTYYY!
The fans cheer at this and Elliott chuckles a little to herself.
Elliott Channing - Yes, I’m well aware of that. I wanted to call you out here tonight because I have a proposition for you. I think that through your time in MSW you showed you were more than capable of competing with the best of them and here in RWD you’ve shined bright as well. So tonight in your match against Artemis Kaiser if you win you will be the official number one contender for the RWD Women’s championship!
The crowd pops at this announcement and a huge smile spreads across Marie’s face.
Marie Porter - Thank you so much, Elliott, I will give it my everything. Artemis is going down!
Matthew Baily - What an exciting opportunity for the bubbly one tonight.
West Newhaven - One she will no doubt fail to take advantage of, it’s Artemis we’re talking about!
Matthew Baily - I have faith in Marie.
As soon as it sets in “Our Truth” begins to play and the crowd is quick to change their reaction to boos. Artemis Kaiser appears at the top of the stage with a mic in hand. She is laughing as she makes her way out. Her music is quick to fade out.
Artemis Kaiser - Oh come on, Elliott! Don’t you even want to give me competition? I mean Marie Porter? I will beat her a million times over and NOTHING either of you two do will change that. At least make it a little hard for me.
Artemis starts to walk down the ramp.
Artemis Kaiser - You want to try and stack odds against me? Try and tell me how to do my work, Elliott, go for it. I’ll just show you and everyone else up every single time. Just like I did in MSW.
Artemis lands at the end of the ramp looking into the ring at Marie who is no positioned at the ropes looking down, while Elliott remains in the middle of the ring.
Elliott Channing - I’m not trying to stack the odds here, Artemis, just trying to make everything fair.
Artemis cuts her off.
Artemis Kaiser - Nothing is fair when I’m involved. Tonight will be very very unfair for you, Marie.
Marie shakes her head and says a few words to Artemis.
Artemis Kaiser - Not to mention…
Artemis is cut off as “Animal” begins to play. The crowd gets loud as Shawna Martinez makes her way out. She doesn’t have a mic, she simply makes her way towards Artemis running down the ramp. The two collide for a second both throwing punches.
Matthew Baily - Shawna has been out for blood ever since her return here in RWD!
The pair continue to throw punches at one another now rolling on the ground, each trying to get the upper-hand. Marie jumps down to the mat and pulls Shawna off of Artemis and Shawna elbows Marie in the face pulling back towards Artemis who now has gotten to her feet. Artemis quickly stumbles back towards the ramp and turns to run up it. Shawna watches turning back to see Marie now on the ground grabbing at her nose where Shawna elbowed her.
Matthew Baily - Once again it seems Elliott Channing has lost control of her women's division.
West Newhaven - Well with lunatics like Shawna Martinez that's bound to happen.
Shawna stands, hands on her hips with disappointment in her eyes as the scene fades.
