The crowd is winding down from what was a fantastic main event. Some people look ready to leave while most have a smile on their face and seem to be in high spirits from the conclusion of The RWD's Sunday NIght Combat. All of a sudden, a familiar entrance theme plays to the shock and awe of everyone in attendance and everyone watching at home!
“Re-Education (Through Labor) by Rise Against his the arena as the crowd reacts with a very mixed reaction with a near 50/50 split between boos and cheers. Frank Washington dressed like he’s ready to do anything but compete steps out in street clothes carrying a briefcase with him as he makes his way down the ramp in a brisk manner like he wants to get in an out as quick as possible.
Matt Baily: Well this is certainly a surprise ladies and gentlemen. Frank Washington has vowed to “hold out” from RWD after Travis Rech purchased the MSW and select MSW contracts on the grounds that he neither consented nor expects to be treated fairly with Robert Garland in charge as the General Manager. The two engaged in a bitter rivalry that was rekindled in Missouri and something tells me this one is far from over.
West Newhaven: He needs to stop acting like a spoiled athlete and come here to do his job. The man has a contract that he needs to honor before he can take his ball and go home and while many people hate their boss most people suck it up and don’t step out of line. Not only is this a man in sheep’s clothing but his entitlement complex is absolutely disgusting. You’re not fooling me Washington!
Frank makes his lap around the ring and grabs a microphone from the time keeper before stepping up the steps and through the ropes into the ring.
Matt Baily: Very divided crowd, half of the crowd are clearly MSW loyalists as we saw earlier tonight with Drew Stevenson getting a resounding show of support while the other half can’t stand his guts.
West Newhaven: I wouldn’t like this guy either after he abdicated his duties as champion twice in this great state, Boss Badger has been telling the truth all along!
Frank Washington: Now I’ll keep this short and sweet considering a needed a police motorcade to even make it to the arena in one piece. Now I’m sure it’s public knowledge by now the ongoing legal issues between myself and RWD Management after the sale several weeks ago and I’m sure any fans crossing over to this new company know of the deep seated hatred between Robert Garland and myself. Unfortunately for the fans in attendance I am not here to compete tonight as I’ve come here on important business.
Frank smirks and shakes his head as the city of Knoxville isn’t exactly welcoming him with open arms.
Frank Washington: You see I’m here on legal business; I’m here to take Travis Rech and Robert Garland to court!
West Newhaven: Of course this guy would hide behind a pack of lawyers. Frank Washington is afraid now that the shoe is on the other foot!
Frank raises his briefcase in the air.
Frank Washington: What I hold here in this briefcase are legal documents filed under the jurisdiction of New Orleans, Louisiana, the very same city and state that RWD hosts their corporate headquarters. I did what any sane person would’ve done when faced with the reality of hostile and unsafe work environment would’ve done. Wrestling is how I make a living; it’s in my blood and I do what I do in the middle of the ring because it’s something I love. Whether all of you love me or hate me I get an adrenaline rush every time I step out from the back to put on the very best match I can, it’s because each and every single one of you that I get to live my dream.
Frank gets a mild pop from that as part of the crowd is still reluctant to buy into his philosophy due to his past.
Frank Washington: But I’m willing to make a compromise if the conditions are right. As much as I don’t want to be here working for the two assclowns behind this company or earning them a single red cent more than what they’ve already stole… I am willing to make this lawsuit go away like it was a bad dream while giving these people a match they’ll remember for a lifetime. Right before MSW went under you and I were supposed to have a match, one match to end it all at War on iPPV so here’s my proposal; you and I, 1-on-1. No bullshit, no Travis Rech, no screwy rules in your favor, no gimmicks, 1 fall to a finish. If you give me that I will agree to work for RWD for one match and drop the lawsuit.
Before Frank can continue, "Crush The Industry" by Dethklok begins to blare over the arena. The crowd gives this second man a mixed reaction as well, Robert Garland stepping out of the back and looking uncomfortable in his clean looking suit. Garland brushes himself off, Frank angered at his interruption as Garland gives a smirk of his own. However, after a short few moments, Garland's expression also turns to anger as both rivals are locked in a death stare with one another. The crowd anticipates a big fight about to break out, Garland cutting the silence as Frank calls for him to enter the ring.
Robert Garland - Well, well, well... It seems the tables have been flipped and The Turncoat has lost his protection of The MSW management. That very same management that made Rech and my lives a livin' nightmare... Is now trapped under our foot as we get the chance to step harder and harder on the lyin' assholes that are Drew Stevenson... And Frank Washington! And, wouldn't you know RWD fans? The first chance Frank gets to come out in front of you all... He uses that chance to whine, complain, and offer some sort of cowardly deal to get out of his responsibilities! Well, Washington... While I'm glad you showed up so I don't have to take YOU to court... I'm afraid everything's not gonna be as easy as you think.
As Washington wonders what Garland means, the crowd is left questioning the scene of numerous lawyers walking out of the back. Garland smiles as Frank looks on in horror, obvious bribe money falling out of their pockets while Garland laughs to himself and the crowd boos loudly.
Robert Garland - You see... My legal team, which was your legal team, has informed me that the contract you have in that briefcase is null and void! What does that mean you ask? Well, that means that you have zero ground to stand on, while I still own your wrestlin' career from here on out! As much as you may not want to, you will wrestle here in The RWD, and you will show up to any event we book you for. And, if you don't? Well, my legal team will be sure to write up a court case against you that places you behind bars for a good ten to fifteen years! How does that sound, Frank? The once security guard of a "crazed madman" is now facin' possible years in prison by the man he used to be in charge of. That sounds like justice to me! Justice that I'm here to dish out... First hand!
Frank seems beside himself, but changes his tune as Garland starts heading down to the ring after removing his jacket. The crowd is ready for a war, Frank ready to fight while Garland reaches the ring, still holding his microphone.
West Newhaven - Oh man! Here we go! It's The MSW all over again! Some things never die, and I love it! I can't wait to see this blood bath!
Matt Baily - I don't agree with the boss' actions, but its certainly led to another interesting encounter between these two men! The crowd seems excited, and... Wait a minute! Who's that!?
Both men look prepared for violence, Washington looking ready to charge as a figure grabs him from behind! Chris Williams has entered the ring behind Washington, spinning him around and dropping him with The Boiling Point! The fans jeer as Garland shows a big smile from the outside, pulling himself up onto the apron after searching under the ring and grabbing a steel chair! Williams starts stomping away at Washington before locking in a Williams Crab! Washington yells out in pain, Garland setting the steel chair up and sitting in front of Frank as he watches Frank's face while Williams keeps the hold locked in and Garland raises the microphone...
Robert Garland - And, since we have your cooperation here in The RWD, I think it would be best to make a big announcement in celebration! Next Sunday Night Combat, the crowd will get the enjoy our main event of Frank Washington... One on one, against Chris Williams! We'll see you there, Frank! ...And Chris? I'm glad you've finally realized what side was the correct side!
Williams releases the hold, Garland heading over as Frank remains on the mat and Garland raises Williams' hand. "I Am Machine" by Three Days Grace plays loudly, the crowd booing and a few of them throwing trash into the ring. Williams and Garland show of their alliance as the cameras cut to a close-up of Frank who shows an enormous amount of pain on his face as he stays grounded and the announce team attempt to close the show.
Matt Baily - It appears we have witnessed the formation of a dangerous alliance between one half of our general managers and this new attitude that has consumed Chris Williams. With that blockbuster of an announcement that is our main event for the next episode of Sunday Night Combat, I'm Matthew Baily...
West Newhaven - And, I'm West Newhaven! I'm looking forward to seeing these three mix it up, and I know our fans that we've created are just as excited! Also, what do you think will happen between Drew Stevenson and Travis Rech after Stevenson made his not so grand return to in-ring action?! And, I know you're just as excited to see Frankie Cocheese back in the wrestling ring! On top of that, we get to see the best women wrestlers in action as they look forward to the chance of facing our new Women's Champion Artemis Kaiser!
Matt Baily - Not to mention, we're all wondering what's next for KONSTANTINE and Maxwell Schneider! And what about the controversy surrounding Daniel and Michael Smart? And who, I ask, will take interest in the open challenge presented by Hayden Phoenix for our first Super Card? All this and more as we continue our Contest of Conquest! We'll see you next time! Same Revolutionary Time, Same Revolutionary Channel!
With that, the show cuts its video feed and the first episode of The Revolutionary Wrestling Division is in the books...
