[The scene opens with a video montage showing Hayden Phoenix and some of his in-ring action. Some familar faces are shown as his opponents, while others are harder to make out. His demanor, skills, and emotions are on display as Phoenix seems to give one hundred percent everytime he is in the ring. "Welcome Home" by Coheed and Cambria is playing over the video montage which slows down with Phoenix's arms being raised as the winner of multiple matches over multiple opponents. The letters "RWD" appear on the screen as the video fades to black]
[The lights dim down and two spotlights converge on the curtain as Hayden Phoenix makes his way out to the entrance. He has a serious demeanor on his face and looks up to the crowd. He points to the crowd on his left, and the crowd cheers. He slides over to his right, points to the crowd, and they erupt as well.
The lights brighten up as Hayden walks down to the outside of the ring, Phoenix holds his arms out to the sides with his palms up, yells something into the air that cannot be made out, and jumps up onto the apron. He grabs the top rope, looks at both his left and his right side, and flips head first into the ring.]
Here we go again... a similar setting, a new company, but the same Hayden Phoenix. It looks like it was about time to make another debut here in the States.
[Phoenix looks down at his wrist as he pretends to tell the time on a non-existent watch]
It looks like I am with a company that might have their act together, and I am able to get on the ground floor. I see some familar faces, and I see some that are new. I am not the only one here making a debut for RWD and I am sure that I won't be the last. I am taking a different perspective this time; I am not going to sit here and bitch about having to make myself known to those in the company, and to the talent... and the fans. Those than have followed me will know where to find me, I will be able to make myself known in due's time, and I will be able to make an impact from day one. I might not be facing an opponent week one, but that is alright... I had some decisions to make and one of them was if I wanted to return to my home or not.
[Phoenix paces from one side of the ring to the other]
I took some time off, enjoyed life for a bit, and came to the conclusion that I cannot come back to my hometown and take a step back. I need to be taking a step forward, and that is something I intend on doing here in RWD. I have yet to have some gold wrapped around me in the States, but that will soon change. I am not going to be doing what I did before... I am here in RWD, my new home... and it is good to be home. I am excited to see where this company takes me, and what sort of talent we have on the roster.
[Phoenix takes a deep breath in and breathes out]
It is time for me to make my name known... and it begins... right... now...
[The camera fades to black as the scene comes to a close]
so quickly so sad!
