I can still hear the echoes cheering my name

William Bekowsky slowly walks over to a permanent seat with his cane in a wrestling venue he used to perform in. "I can still hear the crowd cheering my name." He slowly, painfully takes his seat. His cane goes between his legs and stands straight up. Both hands are on top offering a place of rest. "They used to cheer when we would come out to the ring. This was back before we had any music." He looks out from the seat where the camera doesn't quite catch. "We wouldn't fly through the air. We didn't need 'kickpads'. We were men of steel. We were heroes in our own right. The kind of men who would go out to war to defend the freedom this country has now." His eyes twinkle as he looks back upon fond memories. "I remember facing the Four Horsemen in tag team matches. Oh shit Tully used to beat the living hell out of me." He laughs a deep throaty laugh. His laugh fades away, and his face drops to a more somber look. "I can still hear the echoes cheering my name. That time is behind me now though." He pauses to let that set in. "Now I sit here; watching on, cheering the names of all the wrestlers of today. These men... they are men of courage. Standing high atop of a cage. Fighting each other as well as gravity. Today I watch men who give their blood, their sweat, their tears to the sport they love. Today..." He lowers his head. His face is sad. "Today, I watch the wrestlers of tomorrow. I sit back and do my best to watch them climb just as I did." The sadness still shows an essence in his eye, but he smiles. "Today, I look into the past, but see the future."

A man in a black hooded sleeveless robe walks up behind him and Bekowsky stands up. "Today, I stand alongside the future of professional wrestling. A man who, going forward, will be named after my Sioux City idol. I stand alongside the future; the Sioux-per Trooper, Alex Arren." Arren flips back his hood to reveal his smiling, innocent face.

Fade to Black.

OOC: So not a long rp obviously. Most debut hypes are pretty short so I was trying to play off of that. I also want to have Alex be a new babyface that fans don't really know before he turns heel. So that is why it is so short.
