Just wanted to make an announcement that after this post, The RWD will be officially shut down. The assets will be sold over to ACE wrestling and the company will end all current contracts with its wrestlers and staff. This deal has promised CEO Travis Rech a great deal of money to which he had the following to say:

OOC: It's been really fun doing this, but I don't have the motivation any more. With people leaving left and right and with not being able to secure a bigger staff for management and writing for shows, I have been backed into a corner where I am writing most of the shows closer and closer to the deadline and it's burning me out. You've all been fantastic, even the people that haven't stuck around, and I wish you would continue in this hobby as I might start again as a competitor as well. This has been a fun learning experience and a great set of tests, but with my current lifestyle and the way everything's been going, I am sure that this move is for the best of everyone. I would like to recommend you guys check out ACE as the fed's run by a cool dude who, admittedly, sometimes has his head up his ass, but he'll take care of you as best he can and he does a great job at putting together a fun environment to work and play in. Here's to all of our future, and I thank you all for your time and dedication to The RWD.
