Scotty Addams vs. Frankie Cocheese
Writer - The Free Agent
Brenden Reynalds - The following contest is scheduled for one fall... And it is your main event contest for the evening!
The opening guitar riff to "Reject Yourself" plays for the first 30 seconds until the loud opening scream hits and Scotty tears through the curtain to the stage yelling out to the fans to their content; running from side to side of the stage, the fans cheering back to him while he makes his way down the aisle keeping his eye to the ring.
Brenden Reynalds - Making his way to the ring, first! From Chicago, Illinois, weighing in at Two Hundred and Twenty pounds...
"Neeeevverrrr Saaayyyy Diiiieee" Scooootttyyy Aadddddaaammmmss!"
Matt Baily - Here he is, the man of the hour! Scotty Addams is ready to fight, Frankie Cocheese facing the biggest threat to his undefeated streak thus far!
West Newhaven - Like any of that even really matters! Frankie's just humoring Scotty by even showing up tonight! The man's on The Road to Conquest, Matt! He's got far and above more points than anyone else in The RWD! He's a shoe-in for the Main Event Championship Match for our RWD World Championship!
Matt Baily - But who knows West... With Frankie's streak as big as it is, a win here could straight shot Scotty into the World Title Picture. Maybe he'll be named the number one contender? Maybe he'll be added to the main event match at RTC! There are plently of possibilities for this man, if he can capture a victory here tonight.
Sliding onto the apron, Scotty stands facing the entrance and looking around to all of the fans with a smile before he throws his arms up above his head, crossing them at the wrist to form his 'A' without the dash in the middle. Scotty turns around and jumps over the top rope into the ring where he runs and jumps into a corner, throwing his 'A' up again nodding his head to his theme music before jumping down and circling around the ring. With that, his music fades...
"A Couple Grand" by Young Joc starts to play and right before the lyrics start to his entrance music Frankie appears and walks to the ring with a languid pace, his head held high, though his eyes are focused ahead on his opponent. He stops on the entranceway for a moment and crosses his hands at the wrists in front of him and form a d with his left hand and a c with the right as the cameras catches these actions and the crowd boos loudly.
Brenden Reynalds - And his opponent... The current leader of The Contest of Conquest and weighing in tonight at a Fat stacks of Kilos. From Drama City, Washington DC!
"Yooouuuung Cocheeeedda theeee Doooon..." Fraaaankiiiiiie Coooooooocheese!"
West Newhaven - And here he is now! The Man! The Toe-Tagger Himself! Our future first ever RWD World Champion! It won't be long now, just a few more hurdles to knock out of your way!
Matt Baily - This isn't just a normal hurdle, West. Scotty's the next big thing here in The RWD and you're damn sure he won't just stand aside! This will be a battle! This will be a war!
Cocheese reaches the ring, scoffing at Scotty before hopping onto the apron and stepping in between the ropes. Frankie eyes Scotty with disgust, readying for the match-up at hand as the referee checks with both men before calling for the bell...
DING DING DING
The bell rang and the two men came face to face in the middle of the ring and the tensions were high. The crowd could just feel it in their bones and the energy was alive. Neither Scotty nor Frankie had even laid a finger on each other before the crowd was erupting with chants.
“THIS IS AWESOME! *clap, clap, clap-clap-clap* “THIS IS AWESOME! *clap, clap, clap-clap-clap*
Frankie: “C’mon boy! Gimme your best shot! You ain’t got the balls to do shit ya fuckin’ line jumper!”
Scotty smirked but before he could even do anything, Frankie spat in his face, getting an “OOOOOOH!” from the crowd. Scotty took a moment to wipe the spit from his face just to get smacked which takes him back for just a step with Frankie yelling out “COME ON!” just challenging the fight out from Addams. He gave it back alright with a giant smack of his own knocking Cocheese back a step so he fired back with a forearm; Scotty then fired back with one of his own.
Matt Baily - Would you just LISTEN to the crowd here tonight! They’ve been waiting two long weeks to see these men go at it between these ropes here in the RWD and this match isn’t going to be anything less than completely physical!
West Newhaven - Would you LISTEN to yourself?! Look, Addams may be good but Addams is NO Cocheese and he’s gonna be shown that against the undefeatable! He jumped in line and he’s gonna get knocked the hell back to the back!
Matt Baily - There’s no question about it that this match can go either way but to even think that it’s going to be one sided the way that you are is showing a real lack of anything right now!
Scotty’s shot was a big forearm that took Cocheese by surprise but it wasn’t just one shot. It was one after another after another, just strong forearm shots that were knocking Cocheese back to the ropes. Scotty grabs hold of Frankie’s hand and wrist and whips Cocheese across the ring with force. He rebounds off of the ropes running back to Scotty who jumps looking for a Calf Kick but Cocheese ducks it and continues running to the ropes. Scotty to his feet, turns around just to be met with a hellish version of the Toe Tagger.
“OOOOOHHHHHHH!”
Matt Baily - HOLY CRAP! A huge Toe Tagger clothesline by Frankie Cocheese early on and he may be sending Scotty to the back of the line!
West Newhaven - Ha! Told you so!
Frankie with the cover.

Th-NO!
Scotty got the shoulder up, the crowd erupted and Frankie couldn’t believe it as he sat on his knees and argued with the ref, insisting that it was a three. But while he was arguing Scotty was able to pop up off of the apron grabbing Cocheese’s right arm with his own arms, and the left with his legs, creating a type of cruicifix and rolls Cocheese backwards, catching him off guard and the ref counts.
One
Two
Kick Out!
Cocheese kicked out and roll backwards sliding through the ropes and to the floor laughing thinking he’s got the upper hand. However right as his attention slips, Scotty gets a running start, hitting the ropes and diving THROUGH the ropes with a HUGE suicide dive colliding with Frankie, taking them both into the guard rail and down.
“YEEEEEEAH! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT!”
Matt Baily - I can’t believe it! Scotty just used his own body as a weapon… as-- as a battering ram against Frankie Cocheese and both men are down!
West Newhaven - COME ON COCHEDDA!
For a moment, neither man could move and the pain was in their faces and the referee was counting. His count reached nine and both men made it back in the ring, though barely. They both use the ropes to stand and the moment they were to their feet they slowly came back at each other, Cocheese starting with the first set of shots, short right hand jabs to Scotty’s jaw staggering him back towards the ropes. He leans into them but uses them as a rebound to find his footing and come back with a jab of his own-- and then a second but on the third, Cocheese pulled Scotty in, trapped his neck and head and dropped backwards with his reverse STO he calls “Makin’ it Rain.” Scotty looks to be out cold so Cocheese rolls him over for a cover, placing his palm over Scotty’s face.
One
Two
NO!
Matt Baily - And one again, “Never Say Die” continues to ring true as Scotty just will NOT give up here!
West Newhaven - All he’s doing is delaying the inevitable and making Cocheese mad, Baily! Sure, he’s got some skill but this is THE MAN! THE COCHEDDA!
Scotty got his shoulder up but in the midst of doing so he grabbed the arm of Cocheese that was on his head and pulled the arm backwards which pushed Frankie’s body forward and put him on his gut. Scotty trapped Frankie’s arm between his legs and reaches his arms across Cocheese’s face and cranked back with a Crossface. The ref was in position checking if Cocheese wanted to tap but he refused. After a moment of being locked in the center of the ring he’s able to grab Scotty’s hands with his one good free hand and gradually forced them down and bit them, forcing the hold to break. Scotty holds his hand and sits in the corner and finds himself with a nice foot right to the face from Cocheese who falls, who crumbles from a lack of energy afterwards but finds his way back over to Scotty who sits in the corner with a ten count emerging.
“THIS IS AWESOME!” *clap, clap, clap-clap-clap* “THIS IS AWESOME!” *clap, clap, clap-clap-clap*
“LET’S GO SCOTTY!” “LET’S GO CO-CHEESE!” “LET’S GO SCOTTY!” “LET’S GO CO-CHEESE!”
Matt Baily - A full house divided and just like we all knew it would be, these two are giving it all they’ve got with no love lost between the former teammates! THIS folks, is a main event for the century!
Cocheese was to his feet and brought Scotty up and began to throw slow but heavy head bunts at Scotty. One, then another and another, each affecting both men greatly but Scotty fires back with one of his own and staggers, as does Frankie. Then he fires another and then a third. By the third neither man could really stand up, as if they could before, and blood was trickling down from both of their foreheads, most likely from the head attacks. Frankie threw a right elbow but Scotty yelled out, as if he got a sudden burst of energy and through a huge right arm chop at Frankie’s chest with a >SMACK< the echoed through the entire arena. He let off another one and another and pulled Cocheese in for a quick exploder suplex with an immediate cover.
Matt Baily - Scotty assuming control again in this match-up and he’s got the cover on Cocheese! This could be it!
West Newhaven - There’s no way this will be it! You’ve got your head all screwed up! This man has been through more hell in a one day span that people like Scotty Addams have experienced in their entire lifetime!
ONE
TWO
THRE-NO!
West Newhaven - COCHEESE KICKS OUT! COCHEESE KICKS OUT!
Matt Baily - And this match is still alive! I can’t believe it!
And neither could Scotty. Frankie rolled to the apron and Scotty followed. They stood there, continuing to still trade blows back and forth, neither man wanting to give an inch, shouting at each other to just give up. Scotty gets an opening and uses the ropes to throw his body up and kick Frankie in the head, a rope assisted Enziguri, but Frankie seemed to get his second wind and kicked Scotty in the gut, hooked his head and dropped him head first on the apron with a nasty Apron DDT. Scotty lied motionless on the apron while Frankie walked on the floor, very cockily, while the fans booed him but he just laughed and the ring out count was occurring. Frankie pushed Scotty back into the ring and rolled back in himself, taunting and teasing Scotty, paint brushing the back of his head yelling “COME ON, BOY! COME -- ON!” and Cocheese slapped Scotty one good which prompted him slide over a bit, to launch up and pick Cocheese up in the inverted Fireman’s Carry position, attempting for the Platinum Driver (Psycho Driver).
Matt Baily - Platinum Driving coming up! With everything these two men have put each other through, I really don’t know if Cocheese can kick out of this one-- OH AND A COUNTER!
Cocheese was able to elbow Scotty in the head and slide out to his feet. He turned Scotty around and a kick to the gut. Cocheese double underhooks Scotty’s arms and lifts him up attempting for his Tiger Bomb finisher but as he lifts Scotty up he’s able to flip over Cocheese and roll him up with a quick sunset flip bomb that neither man touches the ground while in process, but Coheese lands and rolls backwards and to his feet throwing a kick at Scotty. Scotty is able to see it coming and drops flat to his back to dodge it. He grabs hold of Frankie’s ankle, pulling him to the ground. Scotty attempts to cross Frankie’s legs for the Perseverance (Last Chancery) but Cocheese got to the ropes, demanding the referee break it up and it was. Scotty backs off but when the ref clears the way Scotty is turned INSIDE OUT, flipping every which way and landing flat on his back with a HUGE Toe Tagger clothesline. Both men wiped again, neither moving much and breathing heavy.
“THIS IS AWESOME!” *clap, clap, clap-clap-clap* “THIS IS AWESOME!” *clap, clap, clap-clap-clap*
Scotty begins to get to his feet, followed shortly by Cocheese. It’s another face to face, both men put their heads together using each other to stand up while talking trash but Scotty snaps Cocheese over with a quick snap suplex taking Cocheese off guard. The crowd erupts and Scotty rolls it over with another. He rolls it over for a third time but instead of a third snap suplex he lays Cocheese across the top rope, Scotty holding him up with his left arm. Scotty then swings his right arm around, spinning Cocheese’s neck and driving him into the mat off the top rope with a modified spinning neck breaker and a quick cover but only another two.
Matt Baily - Both men are giving each other every single move in their arsenal and Scotty connects with the Death by Sunrise but STILL only a two!
West Newhaven - I have to admit, Addams has put up more fight than I thought he would but the match is still not over which means Frankie has this won!
Scotty signals that he’s had about enough and once Frankie gets up the two just trade rights and lefts followed by a hard slap from Scotty, then a hard slap from Cocheese. Scotty stumbles backwards and bounces off of the ropes charging for his own Toe Tagger to Cocheese but ducks it and German Suplexes the hell out of Scotty but he gets up holding his head stumbling back to Cocheese. Frankie attempts for a third Toe Tagger of the night but Scotty ducks it and when Frankie turns around, >SMACK< he’s caught right in the chin with a superkick, knocking Frankie down. Scotty signals for an old move of his, the 450 Splash, and begins to climb to the top rope.
Matt Baily - This can’t be good! Scotty is heading up top, calling for the 450!
He’s perched up top but is cut off by Frankie who managed to not just get up, but he climbs up to the top rope as well. Both men are up there in no mans land trying hard to stay balanced as they trade small blows, neither giving way but one strong blow was all it took to stun Scotty enough for Frankie to get the double underhook and lifted Scotty up to his shoulders. Frankie LEAPED off of the top rope with probably the biggest Takeover (Tiger Bomb) he’s ever done in Avalanche fashion. They bounced off of the apron and the crowd was on their feet.
“THAT WAS AWESOME!” *clap, clap, clap-clap-clap* “THAT WAS AWESOME!” *clap, clap, clap-clap-clap*
Both men down and out, Frankie gathered all he count muster and draped one arm across Scotty’s chest and the count began with the crowd.
Matt Baily - This could be it for Scotty! Frankie's streak may live to fight another day!
West Newhaven - COCHEEEDDAAAHHH!
ONE!
TWO!
THREE!
DING DING DING!
Brenden Reynalds - Here is your winner! Frankie Cocheese!
The crowd boos, Frankie getting back to his feet as he celebrates his win and Scotty remains laid out...
Matt Baily - Cocheese has managed another victory, further cementing his place at the number one spot. But, let's not forget that he will still have to face off against whoever winds up at number 2!
West Newhaven - There was never any doubt that he would walk away victorious! Who can stop this runaway freight train!? I love it, Matt! And, I know these fans do too!
Matt Baily - Well, that's it for our broadcast folks! With that blockbuster of a main event as our outro, I know you'll all be back at our next edition of Sunday Night Combat as we host the show from the Madison Event Center in Madison, Mississippi! Same Combat place, Same Combat time!
Scotty begins to stir, Frankie wiping some of the sweat from his face and heading backstage as the show comes to a close...
