Welcome one and all to another edition of the (monthly?) RWD newsletter. This week we have the pleasure of bringing you a lot of information on a few very important topics of discussion. Without further wait, let's get started on the most recent news here in The RWD!
FIRST and foremost, as many of you should know by now, the second match in the ACE vs. RWD Best of 5 had been decided back on ACE's January 4th, 2015 edition of Sunday Night Live. The main event of the show featured Frank Washington vs. THE Parker Van Peters and the contest was decided with Frank capturing the victory with a small package pin! This tied the score up at 1 to 1 and the next match-up has been scheduled at this upcoming RWD event. The third match in this contest will see ACE's Jay Scarlet take on co-GM Robert Garland in a brutal contest for the next point for either side. But, what you probably don't know is that the fourth contest has already been booked for an upcoming ACE event. The match will feature The RWD's Artemis Kaiser vs. ACE's Flame Puppy and has been announce over at ACE's website. The following is an excerpt of their latest newsletter:
In a news story first also revealed on ACE.com's latest Newswire, The #1 Hit-Maker Johnny Bonecrusher announced further plans regarding his client "Perfectly Sane" Maxwell Schneider's personally-awarded Brass Knuckles title belt. While Travis Rech has insisted that The Portland Madman's championship is not officially recognized by the governing body of the RWD, he's allowed its acknowledgment as a tangible piece of character building. Meanwhile, Johnny had this to say about yesterday's announcement, "I was going to apologize for giving our rivals in ACE the dirt about my plans going forward with my man's Brass Knuckles strap, but bear in mind, I DID say my plan had a Phase Three, and what BETTER place to announce what that entails than MY home base of the RWD!"
"Phase One, we established Schneider as the first-EVER Brass Knuckles Champion. Phase Two, I announced that anyone - and I mean ANYONE who wants to try to take my man down and take his belt away from him, please, be my guest. Phase THREE... Phase THREE is... THIS: This ain't gonna be your daddy's Hardcore 24/7 situation here, oh no. Nothing so pedestrian as THAT for a member of MY Fold! No, there's going to be a WHEEL! OF! MISFORTUNE! Each selection the Violence of the Day! Why, the match could be Chairs Only, or a Boiler Room Battle, or even take place outside and involve a bunch of random drunk stragglers, who knows?"
More on this strange revelation as information becomes available...
NEXT, The RWD would like to announce that an affiliation deal has been made with PWP (The Pro Wrestling Project). The details of this affiliation will be ironed out in time, but The RWD is excited to continue to be branching out in the world of professional wrestling. PWP can be found at the following link:
Speaking of announcements, CEO Travis Rech has been thinking long and hard about the finale of The Contest of Conquest. He has been planning to make a few announcements regarding our next Supercard: The Road to Conquest, and will be handing them out over the course of these next few weeks.
FINALLY, The RWD would like to report that commentator Matthew Baily is doing fine after his injuries from our last broadcast. While he may have finished the rest of his duties at SNC #6, he was medically checked afterwards and given a short vacation to take care of himself barring any possible injuries. He has gone on record that he will continue to commentate and will be part of the broadcast team at our next event, this upcoming Sunday. As for those that attacked them, nothing much more has been uncovered about the mysterious Outsider and his new friend. These are not members of our roster here at The RWD and we are not happy with their attacking of an experienced and well liked member of our employment. Keep your eyes open as we'll be hoping to pursue legal action against these men soon.
That is all for tonight. Have a good day and thanks for reading! Our next event is coming up soon and will be followed by our SNC #8 and then our Road to Conquest Supercard. Thanks for being along for the ride thus far, and we'll see you all again soon enough!

"For those wondering why Jay Scarlet is not scheduled for Episode 6 of #LIVE!, it is because he'll be on the other side of the country, as he takes on RWD Owner Robert Garland, in the third match of the #ACEvsRWD Showcase! Let's hope Jay can do better than Parker did. Following this showcase match, will be the fight that everyone has been clamouring for, and that is Girl Power Wrestling (GPW) & RWD mainstay Artemis Kaiser, taking on our [current] Junior Pro Champion, Flame Puppy! And of course, in the event we need to go to the fifth match of the showcase, we've got something special in store that we're sure everyone will love to see -- more on that later though, as we move closer to the conclusion of the first Showcase."
