The Main Event

- ACE vs. RWD Round #1 -
"The Canadian Icon" Kruzer vs. "M&M" Muhammad Murder

Brenden Reynalds – The following contest is the main event of the evening, the first interpromotional RWD vs ACE match, as well as a Psych Ward rules match! In this contest, there are no count-outs, no disqualifications and falls count anywhere!

Matt Baily – You heard Brenden Reynalds, it's time for our first interpromotional match! Revolutionary Wrestling Division against Awesome Championship Entertainment! Don't worry, folks, despite being RWD announcers, we'll do our best to remain impartial during this match!

West Newhaven – Speak for yourself, Baily! I'm rooting for RWD all the way! ACE sucks!

As “I Stand Alone” fades out, smoke begins to fill the stage area. A flurry of pyros hits the stage and “World of Fire” begins to play. The crowd goes nuts as Kruzer springs through the cloud of smoke. Kruzer is holding a crowbar in his hand, raising it high above his head. Kruzer jogs his way down the ramp and slides into the ring. Kruzer raises the crowbar up high, throwing up the bullhorns with his free hand.

Brenden Reynalds – Introducing first, representing the Revolutionary Wrestling Division, from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, weighing in at 235 pounds... “THE CANADIAN ICON” KRUZER!

Matt Baily – The fourteen time world champion, the Hollywood A-lister, the Canadian Icon Kruzer is representing RWD in the first interpromotional match! The first match determines whom the momentum goes to, and I can't think of a better representative for RWD than Kruzer!

West Newhaven – I'm not a fan of Kruzer myself, but that might just change if he brings victory to RWD tonight!

~AIIIYAEYAAAAAE~

“Awaken” starts blasting over the speakers, the venue's lights wildly flickering on and off. A large bearded male beat emerges from behind the curtain, pushing a shopping cart in front of him! The man, wearing a Beard 3:16 shirt, starts walking down the ramp with the shopping cart.

Brenden Reynalds – Ladies and gentlemen, I've been instructed to say that the following competitor is the greatest bearded wrestler ever, the one you love, the one you hate, the one who will not give a damn about it! Representing the Awesome Championship Entertainment, from Phoenix, Arizona, weighing in at 235 pounds... MUHAMMAD MURDER!

MuMu receives a mixed reaction. The majority of the crowd is booing, some out of brand loyalty, some out of pure dislike for the man. A vocal minority is loudly cheering and chanting for Murder, with plenty of Beard 3:16 shirts and signs in the crowd.

Matt Baily – Muhammad Murder is certainly an interesting individual. The man has been in jail multiple times, his behavior is erratic and irrational and breaking the rules appears to be his favorite pastime!

West Newhaven – The man does have an amazing beard, though, you gotta give him that! It looks like Murder has been Christmas shopping, he's brought a cart full of weapons with him!

Leaving the cart at ringside, Murder starts throwing weapons into the ring. A steel chair, a stop sign, a kendo stick and a garbage can find their way into the ring. The shopping cart is still full of times, most conspicuously a blow-up doll. Murder follows his weapons into the ring, the referee hurriedly motioning for the bell before the action begins.

*DING DING DING*

Murder picks up the stop sign. Right as he's getting up, Kruzer charges him with the crowbar, swinging it wildly. Murder uses the sign as a shield, blocking the blow. The impact of the blow sends shockwaves throughout the sign, forcing Murder to drop the sign. Kruzer goes for a second swing, but Murder ducks, grabs the kendo stick and rolls to the side. Murder gets back to his feet and challenges Kruzer to a sword fight, kendo stick against crowbar. Laughing, Kruzer accepts. The two swing their weapons at the same time. The kendo stick predictably breaks in half.

West Newhaven – Murder's not the sharpest tool in the shed, is he?

With only half a kendo stick in hand, Murder is forced to sidestep an overhead crowbar swing from Kruzer. Murder quickly picks up the other half of the kendo stick, wielding one half in each hand. As Kruzer turns around, Murder hits him with a kendo stick shot to the gut! Kruzer doubles over, and Murder uses the other half of the kendo stick to hit him in the back! Kruzer drops down onto his knees. Murder drops the kendo sticks and charges the kneeling Kruzer, hitting a Switchblade Kick! Kruzer collapses onto the canvas, and Murder goes for the cover.

ONE!

TWO!

Kick-out! Murder walks over to the garbage can, picking it up. Kruzer starts stirring, slowly getting back to his feet. Murder allows Kruzer to get back to his feet, but instead of hitting him with the garbage can, he simply puts it over his head and upper body and shoves him back down. Murder starts rolling Kruzer around the ring, circling the entire ring multiple times. Eventually Murder stops and pulls the dizzy Kruzer out of the garbage can, covering him.

ONE!

TWO!

Kruzer kicks out!

Matt Baily – Well that was certainly some... interesting offense.

West Newhaven – If Kruzer had lost to that, he would've been embarassed for months!

Murder grabs the steel chair, the crowd making noise as he grabs the deadly weapon. However, instead of hitting Kruzer with it, he unfolds the chair and sets it down in the center of the ring. Murder gets out of the ring, grabs a bag of popcorn from his shopping cart and gets back in the ring, sitting on the chair and eating some popcorn as he eagerly watched Kruzer get back to his feet.

West Newhaven – What the hell is this guy doing? I'm starting to think that he's related to Maxwell Schneider!

Kruzer uses the ropes to get back to his feet, then turns around and notices Murder, who waves at him from his chair before grabbing another handful of popcorn. Kruzer charges Murder, but MuMu gets up to his feet and catches Kruzer with a drop toehold, sending Kruzer face-first into the chair! Murder grabs a fistful of popcorn and forcibly shoves it into Kruzer's mouth! Kruzer starts spitting the popcorn out, allowing Murder the time to dig around his pants. The crowd awaits in anticipation over what Murder has hidden in there. Eventually, Murder pulls out a... TOOTHBRUSH!

West Newhaven – ...Huh?

Murder grabs Kruzer's head, pulls his mouth open with his hand and starts forcibly brushing his teeth! Kruzer struggles against this, but Murder keeps brushing his teeth! Murder finally shows some mercy, letting go of Kruzer, who quickly crawls away from him.

West Newhaven – Now I've seen it all.

Matt Baily – Well, after making him eat some popcorn, I'm glad Murder is trying to make sure Kruzer takes care of his dental hygiene!

Kruzer uses the ropes to get back to his feet. Murder grabs the chair, folding it as he finally decides to use it as a weapon. Murder swings the chair at Kruzer, but Kruzer moves out of the way. The chair hits the ropes, bounces off of them and hits Murder right in the face! Murder staggers backwards, Kruzer taking advantage with a running knee smash! Murder goes down. As Murder starts getting back to his feet, Kruzer gets onto the ring apron. Kruzer jumps onto the ropes and leaps off with a springboard crossbody onto Murder! Kruzer lands on top of Murder for the cover.

ONE!

TWO!

Kick-out!

West Newhaven – Kruzer's finally getting the upper hand, time for him to show how we do it in the RWD!

Kruzer yells for Murder to get on his feet. Murder does so, and Kruzer hits him with a beatiful dropkick! Murder goes down, gets back up and gets hit with another dropkick! As Murder gets up to his feet once again, Kruzer irish whips him into a corner. Kruzer then charges him with a corner clothesline. Kruzer isn't done yet, holding onto Murder and hitting a Kruzermatic DDT! Kruzer hooks the leg.

TWO!

Murder kicks out! While Murder is stirring on the ground, Kruzer gets out of the ring and walks over to Murder's shopping cart. The blow-up doll causes Kruzer to raise his eyebrows, but he quickly starts digging around in the shopping cart for weapons to use. Kruzer finds a guitar and another kendo stick, quickly sliding both of them into the ring. Kruzer slides in after them, but as he gets to his feet, Murder blasts him with a clothesline!

Murder grabs the guitar and holds it like a bat. However, after a moment he reconsiders. Murder starts playing the guitar! Well, he starts plucking away at the strings, not producing anything resembling music. Murder's self-caused distraction allows Kruzer to grab a kendo stick and blast him in the head with it! Murder goes down, the guitar falling on top of him.

Kruzer drops the kendo stick and looks at the guitar. Kruzer looks out into the crowd, who start urging him to grab the guitar. Kruzer does so, tunes the guitar a bit and starts playing. The crowd quickly recognize the opening strings of Black Sabbath's Paranoid, cheering loudly! The crowd start singing along with Kruzer!

Crowd: FINISHED WITH MY WOMAN CAUSE SHE COULDN'T HELP ME WITH MY MIND!
PEOPLE THINK I'M INSANE BECAUSE I AM FROWNING ALL THE TIME!

Matt Baily – I think RWD just won the musical performance portion of this contest! Kruzer is a man of many talents!

Murder gets back to his feet, and Kruzer blasts him in the head with the guitar! Kruzer covers Murder.

TWO!

KICK-OUT!

Kruzer is starting to get frustrated, unable to finish off Murder. Murder crawls over to the ropes, using them to pull himself back to his feet. Kruzer charges him, clotheslining him over the top rope to the outside! Kruzer stalks Murder as he's getting to his feet on the outside. Kruzer runs to the opposite ropes, gaining momentum before he hits a suicide dive on Murder! Both men crash into the guard rail!

Matt Baily – Wow! These two men are really going all-out in this match!

West Newhaven – There's no personal grudge between these two, there are no titles on the line. This match is all about pride in your promotion! Well, that and personal glory.

Kruzer gets back to his feet, pulling Murder up with him. Kruzer grabs Murder from behind, lifts him up and brings him on top of the guard rail with a back suplex! Murder yells in pain, holding his back. Kruzer walks over to the shopping cart, taking a quick look inside the cart to look for more weapons. Soon, however, he gets a different idea. Kruzer grabs the cart itself, pushing it in front of him, waiting for Murder to get back to his feet. Kruzer then charges Murder, using the shopping cart as a battering ram! Murder moves out of the way! Having picked up a lot of momentum, Kruzer is unable to stop himself and the cart from crashing onto the guard rail, Kruzer's stomach hitting the shopping cart hard!

Matt Baily – Ouch! Looks like Kruzer's plan backfired!

Murder picks Kruzer up, hitting him with a northern lights suplex on the outside! Murder keeps holding onto the bridge and the referee starts the count.

ONE!

TWO!

KICK-OUT!

Kruzer is still in it. Murder rolls inside the ring and grabs Kruzer's crowbar. Sliding back outside the ring, Murder waits for Kruzer to get back to his feet, holding the crowbar high above his head in preparation. The crowbar comes down, but there's no one there! Kruzer rolled out of the way at the last second, and the crowbar finds nothing but air. Kruzer quickly hits Murder with an enzuigiri, knocking him down and forcing him to drop the crowbar.

Kruzer grabs the crowbar and yells at Murder, urging him to get back to his feet. Once Murder does so, Kruzer swings the crowbar, hitting Murder in the gut! Murder doubles over and falls onto his knees, coughing. Kruzer raises the crowbar above his head, going for another swing, but his eyes quickly fixate on something in the shopping cart. Kruzer walks over to the cart and grabs the blow-up doll!

Matt Baily Uh, what is Kruzer planning on doing with that?

Murder gets back on two feet, but Kruzer charges him with... the blow-up doll! The doll hits Murder, who stumbles backwards and falls onto his ass! Kruzer then drops the blow-up doll onto the floor and grabs his crowbar again. Kruzer starts repeatedly hitting the blow-up doll, puncturing it! Murder gets back to his feet, his eyes wide.

Muhammad Murder – That was Lefty's Christmas present!

Murder charges Kruzer, taking him down with a double leg trip and wailing on him with lefts and rights! Kruzer tries to cover up, but the shots keep coming and coming. Murder eventually gets off of Kruzer, grabs the shopping cart and tips it over, causing it to fall onto Kruzer! The rest of the cart's contents spill out. Murder throws the cart out of the way, picks up Kruzer and rolls him back into the ring. Murder follows him into the ring, grabbing the kendo stick lying on the canvas. As Kruzer gets on his hands and knees, Murder hits him in the back with a hard kendo stick shot! Kruzer falls back down, but Murder isn't done, hitting him with shot after shot after shot to the back!

West Newhaven – Looks like breaking that doll made Murder flip his lid!

Murder finally drops the kendo stick, breathing heavily. Murder goes outside the ring and starts digging under the ring apron. Finding what he wants, Murder looks out into the crowd, a sadistic grin on his face. Murder pulls out a table, the crowd going wild!

Matt Baily – It doesn't matter what crowd you're in front of, wrestling fans love tables!

Murder slides the table into the ring, sliding in himself. Murder sets the table up near one of the corners, taking special care in making sure that it's set up properly. Once he's double-checked everything, he turns around... right into a Kruzerkick! Murder collapses backwards, onto the table! Kruzer sees his chance, positioning Murder so that he's lying on the table. Kruzer steps onto the ring apron and starts climbing up to the top turnbuckle, the fans going wild!

Matt Baily – The fans know what's coming next, West!

Kruzer gets onto the top turnbuckle, stands up and takes a second to balance himself. He throws up the bullhorns, his fans doing the same. Kruzer leaps off with the Hollywood Press!

MURDER MOVES OUT OF THE WAY! KRUZER CRASHES THROUGH THE TABLE!

West Newhaven – NO!

Murder takes a moment to take in the result of the crash, a huge smile on his face. Murder slowly gets to his feet and picks up Kruzer. Murder takes his time getting Kruzer into position for his finisher, finally connecting with a Sunlight Yellow Overdriver! Murder hooks Kruzer's legs, the referee counting.

ONE!

TWO!

THREE!

*DING DING DING*

Brenden Reynalds – Here is your winner... MUHAMMAD MURDER!

Murder crawls over to the ropes, pulling himself up to his feet with them. The crowd gives him a mixed reaction once again, some booing RWD's defeat, Murder's fans cheering for their favorite, some of RWD's fans giving their begrudging respect to Murder for winning a hard-fought fight.

Matt Baily – Muhammad Murder is victorious. ACE is 1-0 in the competition against RWD. You have to give a ton of credit to both Murder and Kruzer, that was a hell of a fight!

West Newhaven – This sucks. The only bright side is that I don't have to start liking Kruzer.

Murder rolls out of the ring, breathing heavily as he heads back up the ramp. Kruzer is still unconscious in the middle of the ring, the referee checking on him. Murder goes through the curtain, heading backstage.

Matt Baily – Well, we're out of time, folks. I'm Matt Baily...

West Newhaven – And I'm West Newhaven! We'll see you all next week! I don't care that RWD lost, we're still the best fed around! We've got more matches to go in this series and you can bet your ass we're going to come back strong!

3^rd Main Event "ACE vs RWD Showcase Match 2"
ACE Pacific-Southwest Champion THE Parker Van Peters vs Frank Washington

Jason Alfonso: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is your main event, of the evening! And it is the second match in the Best of Five ACE vs RWD series!

"Re-Education (Through Labor)" by Rise Against resonates from the PA system as jet of smoke erupts on the stage as the lights dim. Frank Washington emerges from behind the smoke with his back turned and his arms outstretched wide to a positive reaction. Frank slowly turns around as he methodically makes his way down the ramp slapping fans hands along the way.

Jason Alfonso: Making his way to the ring now residing in San Jose, California weighing 233lbs he is The Revolutionary, Frank Washington!

As Frank reaches the end of the ramp he pauses for a moment before sprinting into the ring, sliding under the bottom rope. Frank Washington then gets up and approaches the turnbuckle as he climbs up on the second rope pausing for a moment as he again soaks in the atmosphere created by the RWD faithful as he outstretches his arms wide to pose. After a few moments pause, he descends the turnbuckle, taking his red coat off and turning his attention to the ring.

~Here We are…Born to be Kings, we're the Princes of the Universe!~

Spotlights begin to strobe rapidly around the arena (yes, if you have epilepsy, you should probably shield your eyes) as smoke begins to cover the floor in front of the entrance tunnel as THE Parker Van Peters enters from the back. He is wearing a white fur coat and is carrying a large red sack over his shoulder. He has his head lowered, but you can see him snicker to himself as the crowd boos. He slowly raises his head, and opens his coat displaying the ACE Pacific-Southwest Championship.

~Here we belong, fighting to survive , in a world with the darkest power!~

Jason Alfonso: Ladies and Gentlemen, entering the ring now…..He is the ACE Pacific-Southwest Champion, and the self-proclaimed Dynasty, this is THE! PARKER! VAN! PETERS!

THE Parker Van Peters walks down the ramp, showing off his title and laughing as the boos from the crowd seemingly empower him. He climbs up the ring steps and wipes his feet on the ring apron. THE Parker Van Peters then climbs into the ring, and opens with arms wide. He snaps and the referee reluctantly comes over and removes his white fur jacket. THE Parker Van Peters then heads over to a turnbuckle and starts to climb it.

~I am Immortal. I have inside me blood of kings.~

THE Parker Van Peters Climbs onto a turnbuckle and unsnaps his title belt. He holds it high by the strap as the music fills the air and the crowd erupts in a chorus of boos. He begins to scream back at the crowd.

THE Parker Van Peters: This is mine! All Mine! I am The Dynasty!

He slaps the front plate of his title and hops down. HE then walks over to the opposite corner and does the same motion. The music plays and he continues to yell back at the crowd, pointing out their inadequacies and such.

~We were Born to be Princes of the Universe.~

The lights return to normal with THE Parker Van Peters in the center of the ring.

*Ding Ding*

Frank steps up, focused and ready for a fight. PVP steps up with outstretched arms, shouting out “GREATNESS, AT ANY COST!” Frank shakes his head and rocks PVP with a hard right hand, knocking the arrogance right out of him! PVP reaches up and rubs his cheek, a cold, calculating smile forming on his face. PVP looks up at Frank, almost daring him, “You’re in the big leagues now!” Frank shrugs, before opening with a stinging knife-edge chop to PVP’s bare chest, wooing the crowd in the process! PVP reels back, chopping Frank in return! Frank winces from the sting but chops PVP again anyway! PVP plays it cool (though his facial expression would imply otherwise), and chops Frank back, before taking him to the mat with a deep arm drag! PVP keeps the arm gripped tightly before shouting “ARMBAR!” as he pulls tightly on Frank’s arm!

Joseph Kahn: ACE is the first to score a takedown, much like ACE was the first to score in this series!

Johnny Deep: Hey, how about that…you said something nice about our Champion!

Joseph Kahn: I’m a company guy. I may not like Parker…but I can keep it professional when our brand’s comradery is at stake.

“The Jazz” starts to check on Frank’s arm but before he can, Frank slides his arm out of it, before transitioning to a head scissors on PVP, to which PVP leans back, before grabbing Frank’s leg and shouting out “LEGBAR!” PVP begins pulling on Frank’s leg until Frank kicks him in the back of the head to force the break! PVP stumbles forward while Frank rolls to his feet before taking PVP to the mat with a one-handed bulldog! PVP’s face bounces off the canvas as Frank flips him over and hooks the leg, while “The Jazz” drops down to count the fall!

PVP kicks out!

Joseph Kahn: Kick out with authority by our Champion.

Johnny Deep: That’s because he’s the greatest athlete in the entire Pacific-Southwest! His Title even says so!

Joseph Kahn: That remains to be seen…but December 15^th will certainly be telling.

Johnny Deep: Yeah. Telling as it proves Parker is THE guy!

Frank is up to his feet first as PVP follows soon after. Frank moves in closer to PVP, only to eat a drop toe hold – that just happens to send Frank face-first into the bottom turnbuckle! PVP grins before pulling a stunned Frank back to drop over him with a lateral press. “The Jazz” drops down to count the fall.

Frank kicks out!

Joseph Kahn: No doubt that turnbuckle pad stunned Frank a bit.

Johnny Deep: Well, duh. You try getting face planted into that pad – it ain’t ballet!

PVP slaps Frank once on the way up before motioning with his thumb and pointer finger “That close to being just another name to fall to The Main Man”. Frank gets up quickly, almost angrily after PVP’s condescending tone, to which PVP responds with a textbook basement dropkick to Frank’s knee, which drops him low. PVP gets up and lunges back to the ropes, while Frank gets back up, just in time to get knocked loopy by a running enziguri from the Champ! Frank takes the impact hard, before flopping onto the mat, face first! PVP of course frantically turns Frank over and hooks the near leg while “The Jazz” counts the fall.

Frank kicks out!

Joseph Kahn: You gotta believe that kick out was on instinct alone. Frank’s head has already taken two heavy shots.

Johnny Deep: Instinct doesn’t win you matches when you’re fighting THE Parker Van Peters!

PVP gets to up first, pulling Frank up with him. He lights his chest up with another chop, staggering him. PVP steps back and points to his knee, slowly nodding his head, much to the disapproval of the Awesome Zone crowd! He lunges back to the ropes, running at Frank – FRANK LEAPFROGS PVP! PVP hits the other ropes then comes back again, this time Frank jumping up and wrapping his legs around PVP’s head! Frank pulls PVP down but PVP resists! He spins around, staggers around a bit, before finally throwing Frank off his shoulders and into the turnbuckle with a powerbomb! Frank’s spine bounces off the corner before he lands on the mat! PVP, of course, gleefully pulls Frank away from the ropes, this time hooking both legs as “The Jazz” counts the fall!

Frank rolls his shoulder off the mat!

Joseph Kahn: Woah! Did you see that? Why didn’t he use that powerbomb when he fought Vixen for the Title?

Johnny Deep: It was unnecessary – why exert yourself with huge moves when others out of the ring will do it for you?

Joseph Kahn: What an ass…

PVP slaps the mat out of frustration before looking up at the official. “The Jazz” however, remains adamant that it was “only two”. PVP gets back up and pulls Frank up with him, but Frank offers PVP a stiff elbow to the eye, before dropping PVP with a snap DDT! PVP’s face bounces off the canvas, while Frank takes a moment to catch his breath, before crawling over PVP to make the cover. “The Jazz” drops into perfect position to count.

PVP kicks out!

Frank rolls back and gets to his feet, while waiting for PVP to stand up. PVP rolls over onto his chest, and then his hands and knees, before pushing himself up. Frank sets one foot on the middle rope and springs off as PVP spins around, Frank sticks his foot out and into PVP’s face to nail the “Fall From Grace” (Springboard Kick), but PVP sidesteps Frank! Frank hits the mat with a bit of a stagger from the awkward landing, prompting PVP to grab him and lift him up in a stalling suplex!

Still holding…

Joseph Kahn: Parker almost got caught in the face, ya know?

Johnny Deep: But he didn’t – and now look at the strength of Parker!

Frank wriggles his feet around to shift his weight, causing PVP to drop Frank – this time Frank lands firm on his feet, and goes behind PVP locking both hands around his waist! Frank lifts PVP up, and suplexes his shoulders into the mat with a german suplex! Frank keeps the waistlock on however and pulls PVP up with him! Frank takes a deep breath and, with a heave, he pulls PVP up and suplexes him again, while still maintaining the waistlock! Frank struggle a bit to get to his feet here, and with no help from PVP who is more like dead weight. Frank lets out a loud grunt as he pulls back on PVP to finally get him up, and then he takes another couple of deep breaths before lifting PVP – PVP ELBOWS FRANK’S FACE TO BREAK THE WAISTLOCK! Frank takes a step back after the shot, as PVP spins around, flooring him with a discus clothesline!

Joseph Kahn: Just when you thought the Champ was out of it, he goes and changes the landscape.

Johnny Deep: …That’s why he’s the Champ, Joseph!

PVP grabs Frank, slapping him once or twice, before applying a front facelock. He starts to pull Frank up – FRANK PULLS PVP DOWN INTO A SMALL PACKAGE! “The Jazz” drops down to count the fall!

Johnny Deep: No! Not this way!

Johnny Deep: C’mon kick out!

The arena fell dead silent, as Jason cleared his throat.

Johnny Deep: Now both companies have lost on their own soil!

Joseph Kahn: But if I were Parker…I’d be looking for a place to hide. Like, yeah, don’t even go back to the locker room. Let Alan cool off a bit.

Robert Garland vs. Jay Scarlet

The arena goes silent as the crowd begins to stir. The lights stay out and confusion begins to flow. Just then, blasts start to hit the sound system as the arena starts to stir. As the sounds of Coheed and Cambria's "Key Entity Extraction III: Vic the Butcher" blast into the arena Jay Scarlet steps from behind the curtain wearing his ring gear and a black hooded vest.

He lifts the hood slightly, glancing out at a crowd that doesn't seem thrilled to see him. Boos can be heard around the arena, though some are cheering for his arrival. He glances back towards the ground as Sophie Jade steps onto the stage beside him. She grins before pulling his chin towards her. Sophie plants a firm kiss and runs her hand upwards, pulling his hood off and revealing him to the crowd as the song picks up.

Brenden Reynalds: The following match is an RWD vs ACE match and it is the third match in the Best of Five series! First! From Sussex, New Jersey, being accompanied to the ring by "The Sussex Succubus" Sophie Jade....

"The Jersey Devil" Jay Scarlet!!

The crowd explodes with a mixed reaction largely against Jay Scarlet and Sophie Jade, almost making the ring announcer hard to be heard. They smirk and soak up the reaction, finally arriving at ringside. Sophie plants a good luck kiss on Jay's cheek before he rolls into the ring, heading to a corner to make final preparations for the match as Sophie stands on the outside also ready for things to begin.

Matt Baily: This match may not be for any championships but the weight of the world rests between these two competitors. With the series tied 1-1 whoever wins this match will cause a profound momentum shift to swing towards their respective companies. If Robert Garland wins here tonight then all Artemis Kaiser would have to do is beat Flame Puppy in ACE in two weeks’ time and RWD wins. At that point Parker Van Peters or whoever should be the ACE Pacific Southwest Champion at the time would have to come here and defend the belt in RWD.

West Newhaven: But should Jay Scarlet win then in two weeks Artemis vs Flame Puppy becomes an elimination match for RWD where a loss by Artemis would have to send the RWD Champion over to ACE to defend his belt right after winning it!

Matt Baily: And in the event that RWD and ACE split the next two matches we would go to the sudden death fifth match to determine a winner. But I’ll tell you this; it’s a lot easier to go into the next match sitting at 2-1 than it is to play from behind at 1-2.

West Newhaven: Well one of the few things we can agree on is that we’re both RWD guys. Robert Garland and Artemis Kaiser need to get the job done tonight and in two weeks so it doesn’t have to come to that! Just get the job done and leave no doubt about it, be that impenetrable wall Boss!

The crowd waits as Scarlet paces in the ring, his music fading as a familiar voice cuts through the now silent arena...

Travis Rech: Ladies an' Gentlemen... Please join meh en welcomin' "Tha Greatest Hardcore Icon," an' my close personal friend...

"RWD Co-GM" Robert Garland!

"Vengeance" by Lukhash begins to play, Robert Garland stepping out of the back with his trademark jacket over his torso, black in color.

Garland looks out at the crowd, each person booing his presence as his face looks serious and Rech smiles from ear to ear. The camera catches two championships around Garland's waist, The IPW United States Championship and The GWF Breakthrough Champion, Garland finally heading down the ramp as the camera moves to catch his back... The words on his jacket reading "DIE BADGER DIE."

West Newhaven: Did these dimwitted fans not get the memo? Robert Garland is one of us! He’s an RWD guy, he’s a Louisiana native! HE’S FIGHTING FOR YOU!

Matt Baily: Well that’s debatable West. He’s definitely fighting for RWD and I can’t say he’s not, but I doubt he’s doing it out of the goodness from his heart for these fans. As far as he’s concerned the fans turned their backs on them for Frank Washington.

West Newhaven: And they did!

Matt Baily: I wasn’t finished. As I was saying as far as Robert Garland is concerned the fans turned their backs on them and as a result he wants to distance himself as far away from them as he can. “Die Badger Die” is a bold declaration to that; “Badger” was a fan favorite while Robert Garland, the Co-GM, is out for himself and Travis Rech.

West Newhaven: Even so I doubt these RWD fans, as stupid as they may be, would want to see the RWD Championship be defended against and possibly lost to someone from ACE!

Once the two reach the ring, Garland walks up the steps and onto the apron before removing his jacket. Garland tosses it down to Rech who places himself ringside, and also hands off his two legacy titles. Garland then raises his arms in an "X" shape over his head and gives a twisted smile before stepping into the ring, heading towards his corner, and crouching down as he waits for the match to begin. He is muttering to himself and keeping his eye on his opponent, slightly looking paranoid.

Referee Alberto Rios calls for the bell to start the match as the two competitors circle each other.

*DING DING DING*

Garland remains slightly paranoid as he circles and Scarlet catching on to this quickly darts at him before stopping to test him. Instead of backing off or ducking out of the ring however it only seemed to kick Garland’s survival instinct into gear as he tries to connect with the Brain Damage! (roundhouse kick) Scarlet only narrowly managed to duck and used this opportunity to charge him for real this time as he managed to take him down by his leg to the mat. Scarlet wastes no time trying to target the knee as he tries to lock in a leg lock but fortunately for Garland he was close enough to the ropes to reach out and grab it to force a rope break as Alberto Rios quickly came in to break it up. Scarlet holds his hand up with a smirk as he gets up before delivering several vicious stomps to the knee anyway.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooo!!!

Matt Baily: Despite their past acquaintance Scarlet doesn’t seem to be interested in sportsmanship.

West Newhaven: I doubt either one of them are in all honesty. This is about pride! This is about bragging rights! Expect Alberto Rios to have fits all day with this match.

This time Alberto Rios is a bit more firm with Scarlet as he gives him a verbal warning as Garland was still by the ropes. Scarlet merely just nudges Rios aside as he goes back to Garland however as he tries to pick him up he gets met with an eyerake! Scarlet holds his face in pain as Garland pulls himself up by the ropes and drives a running forearm into the back of Scarlet’s head before raining down with a barrage of punches to a prone opponent! Scarlet just manages to throw his arms up around his head to protect himself but not before several hard rights and lefts connected first. Sophie Jade looks on at ringside with a worried look at the sudden reversal of fortune while Rech had a Cheshire grin on his face. Garland however was quick to change tactics after Scarlet began to protect his head as he got back up and delivered a swift soccer kick straight into the ribs of Jay Scarlet which even causes Rech to wince a little from ringside as he looks on.

West Newhaven: One cheap shot deserves another!

Matt Baily: So much for friendly competition. I doubt this is what Alan Christopher and Travis Rech had in mind when they agreed to do some inter-promotional work. Of course you want your side to win and yes, there is a certain amount of pride involved for everyone involved... But this is just turning vicious!

West Newhaven: Are you kidding me? The Psych Ward Rules match headlined to kick the series off. If anything I’d argue this is exactly what they had in mind! Right now these two are making ACE and RWD a lot of money and I’m sure the ratings will reflect exactly that.

Like a shark smelling blood in the water or a man falling off the fringes of sanity Garland continues to go after the ribs as he starts unleashing a furious succession of mudhole stomps into Scarlet. This time it’s Scarlet that goes towards the ropes looking for relief yet it grants him no immediate relief as he relentlessly continues his assault. Alberto Rios finding the futility in verbally warning him instead goes to the five count instead.

Rios finally yanks Garland off him and gets in his face. Rios threatens to disqualify him on the spot if he even lays a finger on him. Just as it looks like Garland is about to grab the ref by the shirt Rech furiously waves him off and just in the nick of time Garland releases a heavy sigh instead and backs off. Rech calls the referee over almost as if he were apologizing and pleading on Garland’s behalf not to jump to a disqualification. Sophie Jade sees an opportunity in this situation though and hops up on the opposite side of the apron yelling at Garland and slowly but surely he made his way her direction.

Matt Baily: Well anyone expecting a wrestling clinic is sadly mistaken. This is more along the lines of a drag em out bar fight!

West Newhaven: Right now Robert Garland is in his element. The man is famous for his hardcore wrestling and bathroom stall brawls and there are few better when it comes to a straight up fight.

Matt Baily: That may be so but you’d have to be a fool to count Jay Scarlet out. This is the same man who beat Lava several weeks back in ACE after her hand was too swollen to continue; never an easy feat to beat a trained MMA fighter like that.

West Newhaven: I’ll give the man credit for that but you got to remember MMA has a set of rules and guidelines the fighters adhere to; Robert Garland just likes to fight, rules or not.

Scarlet takes advantage of the distractions and manages to get back to his feet, stalking Garland as he had his back turned to him. Remembering the history injury of his opponent he takes off in a quick sprint and goes for a chopblock to the bad knee of Garland. Garland screams in pain as he falls to the match clutching his leg. Rech nearly loses it as he looks into the ring and pounds the apron yelling at the ref for letting Sophie Jade run the distraction. Rios looks absolutely flabbergasted as he quickly looks to the ring, back to Rech, and then back to the ring again as Rech gives him another earful.

West Newhaven: The Jersey Devil is certainly living up to his name. Sophie Jade and incidentally Travis Rech bought him enough time and he took full advantage. Robert Garland should know never to turn his back on the enemy!

Matt Baily: And this is exactly why you can never count Jay Scarlet out. The man’s mind is razor sharp and his focus is even sharper. He went after Robert Garland’s bad knee and all it may take is that one move to completely turn the complexion of this match. He got every single bit of it and then some!

West Newhaven: Well he needs to protect that leg like his career depends on it! RWD’s honor and dignity may very well depend on it!

Matt Baily: Well love him or hate him Robert Garland is anything but a quitter. He’s going to scratch and claw his way towards the finish regardless of the outcome.

By now Scarlet had Garland’s bad leg on the bottom rope, holding it there with his foot before he leaps up and stomps down on it. Garland screams out in pain as Scarlet positions his leg on the bottom rope again before stomping back down on it with authority. Garland rolls towards the center of the ring as he grabs in leg in pain before Scarlet grabs ahold of it and hits a foot DDT. Scarlet looks down admiring his handiwork for a moment before flashing a sinister grin as he goes to lock in the New Jersey Cloverleaf! Garland tries to struggle and fight out of it but try as he may it was no use as Scarlet was able to lock in the hold and turn him over.

Matt Baily: And Jay Scarlet locks in the Jersey Cloverleaf! He’s got Robert Garland’s legs twisted up like a pretzel as he applies the pressure, I don’t know how long he can last in a hold like that!

West Newhaven: Well he better hold on if he doesn’t want RWD to fall behind! Come on Boss!

Garland pounds his fist on the mat as he tries to crawl over towards the ropes as his body is writhing in agony. Alberto Rios kneels down ready to call for the bell in case Garland decided he’s had enough and submits. Garland inches closer and closer to the ropes and almost appears to be a fingertip’s length away but Scarlet catches this and drags him back to the center of the ring. This time Alberto Rios with a look of concern on his face asks Garland again if he wants to quit.

Alberto Rios: Do you want to quit? Do you submit?

Robert Garland: NO!

Alberto Rios: Are you sure, your knee is -

Robert Garland: FUCK NO!

While Garland defiantly refuses to submit Travis Rech looks on very worriedly for his friend. Unsure of how much longer he could resist and knowing that the balance of the series was on the line Rech hops up on the apron and calls the referee’s attention just when it looked like Garland might finally lose grip of his pride and tap. Alberto Rios hurriedly rushes over to Rech who seems to be complaining about… an illegal hold?

Matt Baily: Now I want RWD to win just as much as everyone else in the locker room but not this way. If he taps he taps and as much as I’d rather not see it Alberto Rios has to call this match fairly.

West Newhaven: Oh come on, who’s side are you on? That’s veteran instinct by Travis Rech! The man that signs your checks is running a little insurance measure! If the referee never sees it it didn’t happen! Travis Rech is keeping RWD’s tallest wall fortified! Show some team spirit!

Sophie Jade, furious seeing victory within reach tries to rush on over to where Rech and Rios are and tries to interject herself into the argument, pleading her case that Garland was about to tap. Scarlet keeps the hold in for a moment or two longer hoping the situation would be resolved before reluctantly letting go of he hold and storming over towards Rech. At this point Rech throws his arms up with a sly grin as he hops off the apron, exchanging “pleasantries” with Scarlet. Sophie Jade tries to get Scarlet’s attention back on Garland, who was slowly trying to pull himself back up using the ropes for leverage. Finally Scarlet turns back to Garland who at this point was on one knee hanging on top the ropes and tries to grab ahold of him and pull him up. Garland grins with the opportunity presented and jabs his thumb straight into the eye of Jay Scarlet!

West Newhaven: Bravo Boss! That’s karma!

Matt Baily: I can’t believe you’re endorsing this.

West Newhaven: I can’t believe you’re not pulling for Robert Garland to put this one away!

Matt Baily: Where’s Baskkin Robbins when you need him?

As Scarlet holds his face Garland pulls himself back to his feet, favoring his bad leg. He takes a deep breath before removing himself from the ropes and connects with the Brain Damage stunning Scarlet on his feet! Garland loses his footing for a moment as he drops back to a knee before he grits his teeth as he forces himself back up and hits a very hurried Cradle DDT on Jay Scarlet. Garland slams his fist on the mat as he crawls over for the pin.
