Shawna Martinez vs. Nikki Lynn

Brenden Reynalds - The following contest is scheduled for one fall!

The lights go out, "Pour Some Sugar on Me" by Def Leppard starting to play. The crowd jumps from their seats, excitement filling the arena as a single red spotlight lights the top of the ramp. After a few short moments, The RWD Women's Champion heads out of the back. The cameras keep Shawna Martinez framed in center view, her championship title around her waist as she looks out at the audience who continue to cheer her entrance as she, with a smile, heads down towards the ring while slapping hands along the way.

Brenden Reynalds - Making her way to the ring... First! Now Residing in San Jose; California and weighing in tonight at 140lbs... Standing 5'8... She is The RWD Women's Champion!




Matt Baily - And capturing that championship was no easy feat! Both Shawna and Artemis were granted some time off after their grueling match-up at From The Ashes. But now, finally, Shawna has returned to in-ring action and will be taking on "Ms. GM" in this next match-up!

West Newhaven - And! "Ms. GM" won't be as easy to put down as the first time these two matched up! Shawna's still gotta be feeling that match against Artemis even though we're a month out of From The Ashes. Not to mention, Nikki's been training again! She's stepping up her game and is looking to be a real threat here in the Women's Division! Shawna doesn't stand a chance! Especially when she doesn't have Frank Washington in her corner!

Shawna waits for the cameras to pan around her once she reaches the bottom of the ramp. From there, she poses and hops up onto the apron where she steps into the ring from between the ropes. Shawna quickly pulls herself up to the corner and raises both of her arms high in the air, lifting the Women's Championship above her head before flipping backwards and to her feet and handing the title off to the referee. Shawna continues to pose for the fans as they chant her name and a voice calls for her music to be cut! -

Nikki Lynn - Cut her music! Cut it out!

Matt Baily - What's this about!?

West Newhaven - It's just like I said! No more fancy entrances! No more parading around! Nikki's here for a fight!

The crowd boos, Nikki Lynn heading out of the backstage with a microphone in hand. Shawna gives her full attention, beckoning for Nikki to hurry to the ring as Nikki takes her time and walks forward with a slow pace...

Nikki Lynn - Well... Well... Shawna Martinez! The RWD Women's Champion! Out here... All alone... Without her better half! And what are you out here to do? To take me down? To beat me up and prove that you're the best this division has to offer?! Well, I don't think that's how things are gonna go down!

Nikki finally reaches ringside, the audience still jeering as she smiles out to them before walking up the steps and continuing to speak.

Nikki Lynn - You see... The only reason you managed to beat me last time was because of that scoundrel Frank Washington! That evil and deceitful man that probably gave you a whole earful of garbage as some sort of... Pep-talk! He filled your head with those empty words before the two of us were set to fight... And you played the part of his puppet! You lingered on those words and you came out here as his attack dog! His rabid animal! That's right... You're just a plaything that Frank is using to get a piece of power here in The RWD... You're just a trophy... You're nothing but a gullible little girl who's, just like these people, not even taking the time to see through his lies and think for yourself!

You're not a champion! Just as Frank claims the my Garland is nothing but Rech's beast to exploit in order to line his pockets...

You're just Frank's little cash cow!

Shawna has had enough, quickly running in and hitting Nikki with a vicious forearm shot as the referee calls for the bell!

*DING DING DING*

Matt Baily - The time for words is at an end! Shawna shut her up, and shut her up quick!

West Newhaven - She shut her up because she was speaking the truth! Shawna didn't want to hear the truth about what a coward her husband is! About what a manipulative bastard he is! With his bag of dirty tricks, he was probably the right kind of person to have represented us against ACE...

Shawna stomps away, the crowd calling for blood as Shawna angrily pulls Nikki back to her feet - Nikki raking her across the eyes! Shawna holds her face, Nikki pouncing and taking her down to the mat where Lynn throws a right hand - Shawna blocking and rolling her onto her back! Shawna is now in the mounted position - Nikki spitting in her face to the disgust of the referee as Shawna gets back to her feet and Nikki gets back up after her. Nikki pulls Shawna's hair, looking to take her back down to the mat - Shawna grabbing her arm and forcing her grip to release as Shawna then wrenches under it, bringing Nikki in for a hellacious clothesline! Nikki hits the mat hard, Shawna wiping her face once more before turning to the fans...

Matt Baily - What a fight so far! These two women are showing their claws, but it looks like the fans are in favor of Shawna taking this one home!

West Newhaven - Just as quick as last time, huh? I refuse to believe it! Nikki's still got some fight left in her! You just watch!

Shawna turns back to Nikki who is getting to her feet, Shawna looking to move in for the kill as Nikki grabs a hold of the ref and places him in between her and Shawna. Shawna tries to get him out of the way, Nikki now pushing the ref at Shawna who catches him and pushes him aside - Nikki slapping Shawna across the face!

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

West Newhaven - There's that fight! There it is! Nikki won't back down! Nikki won't back down!

Shawna shakes her head in disgust, Nikki yelling more insults as Shawna quickly catches her with a knee to the gut! Nikki is doubled over, the crowd popping loudly as Shawna grabs her from behind and lifts her up... Hitting the Bella Mafia(Glam Slam)! The referee is getting back to his feet, looking at the situation as he goes to count a pin - Shawna stepping back a few paces from her grounded opponent before running in with the il Impassable(Curb Stomp)! Nikki is out cold, Shawna turning her over and covering...

Matt Baily - The RWD Women's Champion is looking strong! Nikki reached into her bag of dirty tricks, but could not so easily capture a victory against the head of our Women's Division. Hell, Shawna's one of the heads of our entire roster if you were to ask me!

West Newhaven - You'll get her next time Nikki... Maybe try not to piss her off so much.

Shawna retrieves her championship, making her way out of the ring and to the backstage after posing for her many fans. Shawna turns at the top of the ramp, looking at the laid out Nikki and shaking her head, still thinking about the words Nikki had to say... The cameras switch to capture a still grounded Nikki, Lynn unmoving out as the cameras cut to a commercial break...
