I'm sure each of us is going to do our best to create some really intriguing unpredictable storylines which will hopefully inspire you to return sooner than later.

And of course inspires everyone else to stick around too.

I might be speaking for myself here, but I've got a few things I'd like to say:

1) Keep it civil, this is the OOC board. This place is a community of writers who enjoy this hobby. Zero reason to claim you will "rip the shit" out of anyone's writing.

2) You have joined the RWD, which makes you a part of this community. To say "YOUR best" doesn't come across as someone wanting to be a part of a good group of people who enjoy being here. It comes across as someone who only cares about winning.

1) wwjbcd pretty much nailed it with his comment, but there's plenty of reason to claim it in the sense that if it's going to be the only rp he does, that just means I can systematically dismantle his work with mine. No spite or malice towards him; just a basic fact. It wasn't meant to diminish the quality of his work, though I can see now how it could be taken that way.

2) I had this match hyped up quite a bit for me by Garland when he told me he'd booked it, saying that Adelaide was one of the best players from the other place and I was really looking forward to this match. I mean, you wanna talk about community, I suppose I could've sugarcoated my statement up there and worded it differently, but, at the end of the day, when the fella's character's supposed to be a babyface and completely disregards mine by saying nothing about our upcoming match in his entire rp and only talking about another aside storyline then sums up by saying "I don't care about Kruzer" 3 days before this little interlude, forgive me for being unsympathetic based on his reasoning for not playing and effectively leaving. That's not exactly "community", is it?

That being said though, I admire your character and the idea of sticking up for your buddy and/or a member here; that's kool, but spare me the sermon and the lecture about community and "wanting to be a part of a good group of people who enjoy being here", cuz whether we're babyfaces, tweeners or heels, we're supposed to be working together and leaving something for our opponents' to play off of with our rps... Noah didn't do that with his rp and left me no choice but to completely "rip the shit" out of his writing anyways, because there was nothing else to play off of since I'm not apart of that side storyline with Garland; meaning that I would've had to dismantled his rp anyways because that was the only way to play off of that. Sorry.
