Nikki Lynn was not ready for Shawna Martinez. She tried to fight back, but Artemis knew all too well that Shawna would decimate her. It was simple. Shawna had the experience, skill, and motivation. That motivation was her vendetta against Artemis. Artemis playfully acted as a mouse. She would duck and dodge Shawna at any given moment, taunting her from afar. She wanted to see how far she could push her victim until Shawna couldn’t take it anymore. It seemed that Shawna could handle her neck being broken. Artemis had to be sure to end her properly. She started with Shawna’s mental state, then she would emotionally cripple her, and finally break her physically again.Artemis could admit to only herself that she grew obsessed with ruining Shawna. Shawna was right…for once. Artemis heard that she decided to come back. That was the sole reason why she came to RWD. The championship is nice, but she wanted to end Shawna Martinez. The uppity wench did not get the message. She was done. Artemis Kaiser had ended her, but she acted as if she could jump back. Beating Nikki Lynn was not the best way to start off. Nikki Lynn would faint just by being in Artemis’ presence. She was not impressed by Shawna’s trivial victory. She was not intimidated by Shawna’s focus on her. Those cold eyes had laid upon her once. Artemis broke her neck for looking at her so. What was different? There was something, because it made Artemis feel a certain way.
The glare that she had made Artemis giggle with delight. She couldn’t hide it. Shawna Martinez cared; she wanted vengeance. It is a pity that she would never get it. Artemis held her championship, locking eyes with Shawna Martinez. She had shown what she really was like. Inside of her was a beast, wanting to rip Artemis apart. However, Artemis was the CHAMPION FOR LIFE. Shawna had no idea how much Artemis has advanced. While Shawna was recuperating, Artemis was claiming championships. Shawna’s wrath was nothing compared to Artemis’ might. All she had to do was wait. As Artemis walked backstage, she ran into Elliott Channing. The GM that handed Artemis her rightful championship. She looked…intrigued. Artemis stopped and gazed at her boss, arching an eyebrow.
“Yes?” Artemis asked, fixing the championship belt on her arm. Channing smiled at her first crowned champion. “It is about time you prove to everyone that you deserve the belt on your shoulder,” she explained, poking at the belt playfully. Artemis nodded; it was only a matter of time. “Do you want me to beat a giant?” Artemis inquired, thinking immediately about that new monster, Jezebel. She destroyed Lucy Wylde. Artemis would have to thank her. She’d send her a gift basket of some sort. That pesky girl was taken care of…temporarily. Channing shook her head.
“Lucy?” Artemis was already thinking of Lucy, but once again, Channing shook her head “no”. Artemis stood confused. Channing chuckled. “You’re getting tunnel vision, Artemis,” she said. Artemis rolled her eyes. Champions do not get tunnel vision. “I have decided that there was one woman in MSW that you didn’t get to beat,” she started to explain. Artemis crossed her arms. This would be a hoot. “Some people say that she is your greatest rival outside of Shawna and Kat,” she kept hyping it up. Artemis bitterly sighed. “Out with it please?” Artemis pleaded.
She was too tired of this banter.
Channing obliged. “Marie Porter,” Artemis then felt the presence of a camera. She growled lowly. Of course, there would be a camera. It is fantastic hype. Marie Porter? Artemis had a vivid memory of the insufferable girl. Artemis called herself “undefeated” in MSW, but Marie Porter brought a loss on Artemis’ record. Albeit, Artemis clocked her with her championship belt, but a loss is a loss in the books. “War” was the event that they would have done battle. “War” was the place where Marie Porter’s career would have ended as well. Channing knew it would draw money. It would also rile Artemis up."And this is going to be the main event! The first women's main event in RWD history!"
Marie’s demeanor drove Artemis to the brink of insanity. All Artemis wanted to do was shatter that visage. Marie knew that she was not as good as Artemis and envied it. She kept trying to use that weird psychology on Artemis. You don’t become friends with your enemies. “You want me to finally decimate her?” Artemis replied, nearly laughing. Channing shrugged. “I wouldn’t know about decimate, but if you want to impress everyone, beat the woman that Shawna couldn’t beat one on one,” Channing explained, grinning. How dare she? Artemis falsely grinned, before returning to her sour deposition.
“Me? Prove something to them?” Artemis said, pointing to the camera. She pointed, but never looked. “HA!” her signature noise rang out through the backstage area. “I don’t need to prove anything to anyone. You already know how good I am. You put the belt on my shoulder, because you know that I would keep it safe and sound…forever,” she smiled at Channing. “That is what the CHAMPION FOR LIFE does! She keeps her championships and never loses them. I thought it was pretty obvious by the 'FOR LIFE' thing.”
“Everywhere that I’ve been a champion, I never lost the belt,” Artemis brought up the fact. “If you ask me, I think the contenders of the RWD need to prove something to me. Tell Shawna to beat someone important and then I will consider her challenge,” Artemis growled. “I will beat Marie Porter to an inch of her measly life,” Artemis added, nearly hissing. Channing showed obvious discomfort with Artemis’ aggressive personality. “Who is she facing, hm? Who is Shawna Martinez going to try to take down next? Entertain me!”
Channing let silence fall, building upon Artemis’ need to know. She rocked on her feet, playing innocent. “I don’t know, Artemis. How about a woman by the name of Ryan Cavallari? Does that ring any bells?” Channing knew that the name would throw Artemis off. It worked to perfection. Artemis stared into space, stunned. Her arrogant demeanor fell down. A squeak escaped Artemis, “Ryan Cavallari,” she asked nervously. Channing smiled gingerly before walking off. She left Artemis alone and stunned with the cameras rolling. What a deceptive bitch.
“Channing thinks she can play games with me,” Artemis began. The scene opened to Artemis sitting down in a chair; the RWD Women’s championship draped on her shoulder. Her hands were together, shrouding her mouth. Artemis looked towards the ground, deep in thought. “I am not sure if she got the memo, but the CHAMPION FOR LIFE wins all games. Ask Giant. Giant tried to stack the odds against me. He lost that battle. I broke Shawna Martinez’s neck, knocked Kat Jones out with a kick, and went on to beat Luke Jackson. I stood as the only female to beat a male in MSW. I was also the longest reigning MSW Women’s Champion. I was the last and the best. There was nobody there that could beat me.”
“I come to RWD not just to take what was mine,” she stroked her precious championship. “I came to end what I’ve started. Shawna ‘Brokeneck Mountain’ Martinez, or excuse me, Washington, stands here, thinking she is someone,” Artemis had yet to raise her head. “Does she not realize that I can end her any moment that I wanted to?” Artemis seemed not to be speaking to the viewers, but to herself. “She shouldn’t glare at me. She could go blind from my greatness,” Artemis said, before snapping to reality. She rose her head to see the camera. She grinned cockily.
“Marie Porter, we meet again,” Artemis said, continuing her smile. “You know, I am saddened that our match in MSW didn’t happen, because I had a lot planned for you. I was going to do something to you that you were never going to forget,” she said. Artemis’ voice began to lower. “Something that you, Giant, or all of those miserable fans would never forget. I was going to have fun doing what I was going to do to you,” Artemis continued to explain. Her face showed obvious malice. She couldn’t describe what she would have done to Marie Porter. It would have been horrible and censored.
“Now we’re here in RWD, back to where we were. You striving to even graze my immortal armor. Me sitting on top of the mountain I’ve climbed, holding the treasure in my hands,” she motioned to the Women’s Championship. “It is just a shinier belt and a more interesting situation,” Artemis thought of all of the women striving for her attention. “We have a giant and an angry mutt trying to come after me,” Artemis said, referring to Jezebel and Shawna disrespectfully. “We then have everyone’s favorite bubbly blowing loser, sitting here…lost,” Artemis cooed, feigning sympathy.
“But hey, you’re competing in the first women’s main event of RWD,” Artemis said, smiling again. “However, it is sad that it will be a slaughter. As you saw last week, Channing told me that I had to impress the new audience. Some know of my amazing talent while others do not sadly,” Artemis frowned, once again feigning her emotions. “How sad,” she said. “It is far too bad, Marie,” Artemis added. “But I got to make an example out of you. Not for Shawna. It is for the rest of the roster. Because something wicked comes Shawna's way.”
“Shawna Martinez is going to die before I get to her, because Ryan Cavallari is going to rip her limb from limb,” Artemis said. “As a matter of fact, that is the only woman here that could possibly beat me,” Artemis explained. “Why do you ask?” she asked her imaginary audience.
“She is my teacher,” Artemis said. “RWD has signed the woman who trained the CHAMPION FOR LIFE. And to test her out, she has to destroy Shawna Martinez?” Artemis asked, confused. She laughed hysterically. She had to compose herself. “I am sorry, Shawna, your egotistical attitude isn’t valid here. There is nothing that you, your vengeful rage, or your husband’s support could do to save you from her. RyCav is a monster. She loves inflicting pain more than I do. The DMD, the move that broke your damn neck? She taught me it.”
“So this week is going to be a grim week for our fans. They are going to lose their little bubble blower. They are going to lose their resentful warrior too. Rech has accidentally created a monstrous power group. It all starts this week. The immortal empire is here,” Artemis explained. She began to laugh again. “It is a shame too! These poor fans thought that Marie and Shawna were going to survive RWD!” The camera had to cut. Artemis was laughing too heavily.
The shot came back to her wiping a tear from her eye. “Marie, it is okay. You are not going to be *censored*”
Camera cut again.
“Marie, you’re not going to be as screwed as Shawna. You’re going to be happy that I give you the beating that I’m giving you. Shawna Martinez is not going to be even carried out here. They are going to collect pieces of her from the fans. RyCav will hand them out like candy to her fans,” Artemis gruesomely explained. “You’re just going to need a neck brace—“Artemis stopped herself. No, she couldn’t just use the classic. No, she made a promise to any fan on Twitter. She was going to start paying tribute. Her strikes had become too deadly.
“No, you’ll need jaw surgery. I am going to Bruce Lee your face in,” Artemis said, before the camera shut off.
