So since I love movies so much, I decided to make a movies thread here for all of us to talk about movies we've watched. You can talk about movies you just saw at the theater, your favorite movies of the year, your favorite movies of all time, whatever you feel like. Just a side note, if you're gonna talk about current movies in the theaters, try not to use spoilers! Hopefully I'm not the only person who posts in this thread.
So, I just came back from Gone Girl (Directed by David Fincher, director of Fight Club, The Social Network, Se7en, and my favorite movie of his, Zodiac), and as a person who never read the book it's based on, it was freaking fantastic. All around great performances by Ben Affleck, Tyler Perry, Kim Dickens, but Rosamund Pike steals the show. It was by far the most F***ed up movie of the year, and one of the movie screwed up movies I've ever seen, and I can't tell you why because I'll spoil the last hour and a half of the movie. Just go see it. Like right now.
