The camera turns on to an empty interview set. The lights are down as they are not expecting any interviews to take place at this time back there. The overhead lights are on however, because if they were to turn those off... well the whole backstage area would be dark. So I guess the interview set is partially lit, just not as lit as it usually is. Alex Arren storms on in a rage with Bekowsky following behind him.
Alex Arren: “That (bleep)-ing (bleep)-hole knew he couldn’t beat me! He hit me with that damn flag because he was afraid of me! I had him right where I needed him, and he (bleep)-ied out and had to take me out with a foreign object!”
Arren turns around to face Bekowsky. His face is red and he keeps checking his forehead for blood.
Alex Arren: “That little shit is going to get his. I am going to make damn sure he gets his. He has made a huge mistake pissing me off.”
William Bekowsky: “No you’re not! You were the one that threw a chair into the ring and threatened to crack his skull with it-”
Alex Arren: (interrupting) “And I (bleep)-ing should have! Why did you stop me?”
William Bekowsky: “First off, you interrupt me again and we’re going to have a big problem. Got it?”
Alex’s face is as red as his text, but he keeps his mouth closed.
William Bekowsky: “Good. Secondly, you are going to forget about Prince Assad. This week you have Ray Harlan as your opponent. I don’t know if you even watched him, but he nearly squeezed the life out of Dennis Driver last week. Do you really want to be the one screaming Uncle while a forty year old man strangles you with his love?"
Alex’s face begins to return to its normal white colour. He lowers his head.
Alex Arren: (quietly) “no.”
William Bekowsky: “Pardon?”
Alex raises his head.
Alex Arren: “No sir.”
William Bekowsky: “That’s what I thought you said. Also, he’s going to be busy doing his own thing. So what I want you to do it go on whatever social media site you want and tell Frank Washington you are on his side. It’s not a bad idea to get some allies here in RWD. And if you want to get noticed; standing beside Frank Washington will get you noticed.”
Alex Arren: “Yes sir.”
William Bekowsky: “Now you’ve lost a bit of your fan base after you tried to use the chair in your match. This week you’re facing a huge fan favourite in Ray Harlan. People love how goofy and childish he is. So you’re probably going to have a lot of people favouring him over you. Don’t let this discourage you. It is not that they don’t like you; they just like him more.”
Alex Arren: (quietly) “I don’t know why...”
William Bekowsky: “Because people don’t like a cocky young kid who thinks he is better than everyone.”
Arren glares at Bekowsky. Bekowsky gives him a light slap to the face. Alex is shocked that his manager just slapped him. His mouth drops open.
William Bekowsky: “Stop that. If you keep making that face it’ll stick like that. I need you to be focused here. This is your chance to make a huge comeback from that last tough loss, you just need to keep focused. From what I’ve seen Ray is a powerhouse, and a damn good one at that. In just a few moves he defeated a guy who had done his best to wear down his knee. He held Dennis Driver up and began to bench press him. That should show you just how strong your opponent is. My advice to you is to either work the same knee Driver was working on to take him down then lock in the armbar. Get him off his vertical base then attack the arm so that if he does lock you in that devastating bear hug you have a way to get yourself out of it. If you can take him out with the Six Seconds Magic I’d recommend doing it. Remember to use that palm strike of yours. If he has you in the bearhug you could place the strike on his left side and get a shot right to the heart. He’ll drop you. Remember to place it near vital organs. Hitting the solar plexus will partially paralyze the diaphragm, and Harlan will lose his breath. Hitting the liver in the right place will take anyone out for a few moments. It is a bit cheap, but should allow you time to catch your breath. You did a good job last match with that. You saw how Prince crumbled from it.”
Alex Arren: (nodding) “Yeah, he dropped pretty damn quickly. Most people do.”
William Bekowsky: “Exactly. You’re at a height and strength disadvantage, but if you stick to your strengths you’ve got this match in the bag. So don’t worry about Prince Assad. He’s facing Maxwell Schneider; he is screwed when it comes to that insane man. He’s covered.”
Alex nods and turns to walk away.
William Bekowsky: “Alex, wait.”
Alex turns back around.
William Bekowsky: “I want you in gorilla position during Frank Washington’s match. If anything goes wrong out there I want you there to help him out. Alright?”
Alex Arren: “Yes sir.”
Alex walks away leaving Bekowsky shaking his head as the camera fades away.
