Sunday Night Combat - Episode 1

Brenden Reynalds - The following match is scheduled for one fall, and it is your main event of the evening!

The opening guitar riffs of "Undergroud" by Gob begins to play through the arena, the crowd starting to murmur as smoke rises from the entrance way and in pillars. Devin comes out of the back, looking out with a dead eye stare. He stays at the top of the ramp, standing in the smoke as he takes in his surroundings before making his way down the ramp and towards the ring. Once the bass picks up, KONSTANTINE seems to be walking in rhythm and bobbing his head. KONSTANTINE peers out at the fans, getting close to the loudest ones and talking as if he's their pal. He continues acting strange before reaching the ring, Brenden introducing him.

Brenden Reynalds - Introducing first! From Toronto, Ontario, Canada... Weighing in tonight at 235 lbs.... He is "The Last King," and "The Canadian Casanova!"... Devin KONSTANTINE!

West Newhaven - What a way to end the night! We've gone from the savior of our company to its king!

Matt Baily - I wouldn't be fooled by his charisma, West. This man has been called a cancer on the the world of wrestling. If you ask me, he's nothing more than a bully and a smooth talker!

Devin chuckles to himself, tilting his head to the left and right. He wears a constant smirk, walking around one side of the ring and getting up onto the apron. Devin then pulls himself to the top rope, still talking to the fans but now saying rude remarks. This causes the audience to finally understand Devin's personality as the start booing loudly. Once KONSTANTINE seems satisfied, he hops down to the mat and stands in one of the corners. KONSTANTINE now ignores the fans, keeping his glare at the ceiling as his music dies down.

The crowd keep giving him jeers and boos, their tune changing "Bad to the Bone" by George Thorogood catches their ears...

Brenden Reynalds - And the opponent... From Portland, Oregon and weighing in at 285lbs... He is "Perfectly Sane"... Maxwell Schneider!

Many of the audience members start to scramble to safety while a few try to get as close to the front rows as possible, "The Portland Madman" storming towards the ring and out of the back! Maxwell Schneider is tossing objects around on his way to the ring, throwing soda cans from the back, kicking lights off the ramp, and swinging his chains around wildly! Maxwell shows no regards for anyone's safety, not even his own.

Matt Baily - What a high level of energy! Look out people!

West Newhaven - Put this man in a strait jacket before he hurts someone!

Maxwell immediately heads under the ring apron while KONSTANTINE looks on. Much to referee Baskkin Röbbins' annoyance, Maxwell begins tossing anything he could find into the ring. The ring and the outside area begins to fill up with chairs, 2x4s, planks of wood, and steel bars. KONSTANTINE seems to laugh to himself, Baskkin immediately kicking stuff tot he outside and yelling for Schneider to enter the ring. As Maxwell finally complies, he knocks himself a bit in the head with one last can of soda before hopping onto the apron and throwing his chains in between the ropes. Maxwell seems to be talking to himself, KONSTANTINE looking confident and arrogant while the referee continues to clear the ring before calling for the bell...

*DING DING DING*

Maxwell looks at KONSTANTINE with an excited expression, KONSTANTINE smugly shaking his head. As Schneider beckons KONSTANTINE towards the middle of the ring, Devin accepts his proposal and both men lock up to start the match! Maxwell tries to get a go-behind, but KONSTATINE holds his arm and starts to wrench on it. Schneider keeps walking towards Devin's side, KONSTANTINE keeping hold as Maxwell shows a hint of pain in his face. Finally, KONSTANTINE lifts Maxwell's arm above his head and slides under it, getting behind Schneider and locking in a chicken wing. Maxwell viciously swings his free elbow backwards, trying to catch KONSTANTINE who constantly ducks and dodges while keeping his hold. Finally, an elbow catches Devin in the face, Devin forced to release and checking his nose as Maxwell turns around - Devin slapping him across the face as the crowd boos!

Matt Baily - What a display of disrespect! KONSTANTINE seems to have no qualms about bad sportsmanship!

West Newhaven - He's starting those mind games, Matt! He's trying to get into his opponent's head... Although he should be careful as his opponent's head seems to not be all there! I mean look at him! He's smiling at The Last King!

Sure enough, Maxwell is wearing a big smile after KONSTANTINE's slap. Schneider seems happier than ever, KONSTANTINE even showing a slight smirk as Maxwell moves in and they both tie up once more. This time, Maxwell manages to overpower his opponent, KONSTANTINE being shoved back into the corner as Baskkin starts a count of five. Maxwell goes for a big headbutt after hitting some hard looking gut shots, KONSTANTINE managing to roll out of the corner as Maxwell connects with the top turnbuckle! Maxwell seems dizzied, KONSTANTINE catching him as he stumbles back towards the middle of the ring and lifting him onto his shoulder - Maxwell falling behind and on his feet before raking KONSTANTINE's back!

Devin felt that, Maxwell showing that his nails are un-clipped before biting one of them off, spitting it out of his mouth, and lifting KONSTANTINE as he stumbles around with a big Reverse Atomic Drop! KONSTANTINE cups his crotch and makes an "O" shape with his mouth, Maxwell immediately hitting the ropes and looking for a clothesline on the rebound! Devin ducking under! Once again on the rebound, Maxwell is caught by the back of the head, KONSTANTINE throwing him over the top rope and to the outside. The crowd boos, KONSTANTINE still paying them no attention as the referee counts.

West Newhaven - Don't throw him out here! I don't want this guy anywhere near me!

Matt Baily - It seems KONSTANTINE needed a moment to catch his breath. Maxwell was starting to get on a roll in there!

ONE!

After a few moments of rest, KONSTANTINE mocks the audience by acting like he's wiping sweat from his forehead and breathing heavy. KONSTANTINE once again smirks, Maxwell starting to climb back onto the apron where KONSTANTINE goes to meet him - And gets guillotined onto the top rope! Maxwell quickly hops back down, grabbing KONSTANTINE's foot!

TWO!

Maxwell manages to pull Devin to the outside before going to bounce Devin's head off the announce table - KONSTANTINE stopping himself with his hands and hitting a hard elbow to Maxwell's gut!

THREE!

KONSTANTINE now grabs Maxwell by the hair, slamming Maxwell's head off the announcer's table as West and Baily don't seem to happy. KONSTANTINE tells them to piss off, West agreeing that Baily needs to piss off but still objecting. As KONSTANTINE starts to argue, Maxwell has recovered behind him and is shown standing with a steel chair!

FOUR!

West quickly warns KONSTANTINE, Devin turning around just in time to duck a potential chair shot as Maxwell almost hits a fan! Maxwell is exciting the crowd, KONSTANTINE ducking another attempt as Maxwell starts to chase him around the arena and Baskkin threatens disqualification while he continues to count!

FIVE!

KONSTANTINE rolls back into the ring, under the bottom rope as Maxwell follows and KONSTANTINE finally catches him with some rough looking stomps! KONSTANTINE seems a bit agitated, pulling Maxwell back up to his feet as Maxwell drops the chair on the way up. KONSTANTINE then turns Maxwell around, choking him on the top rope as Baskkin counts a break once more and West and Baily get back on their headsets!

Matt Baily - Both of these men have no respect for the rules!

West Newhaven - That was a close one! Referee Röbbins certainly has got his work cut out for him!

KONSTANTINE breaks the choke, spinning Maxwell around before sending him across the ring and catching him with a rough looking powerslam that leads to the first pin attempt of the match!

ONE!
TW/KICKOUT!

KONSTANTINE's back to his arrogant self, the referee checking on Maxwell after KONSTANTINE hits a few more stomps and walks away. As Röbbins is distracted with Maxwell, KONSTANTINE take notice, stealthily removing the cover of the upper-right turnbuckle. KONSTANTINE makes sure he isn't caught, looking over his shoulder and turning back only when Maxwell starts to rise. Moving back over, KONSTANTINE grabs hold of Maxwell who quickly breaks away and hits a hard headbutt! KONSTANTINE was caught off guard, backing away as he holds his forehead in pain and Maxwell runs in and connects with a BIIIIG Boot! The crowd goes nuts, Maxwell noticing the uncovered turnbuckle as the audience cheers for him to do more damage!

West Newhaven - So it's okay for Maxwell, but not KONSTANTINE! Is that how it is!?

Matt Baily - The fans simply want blood for the way KONSTANTINE's been treating them, and Maxwell seems ready to give them some!

Maxwell points to the corner, the crowd popping as Maxwell smiles and KONSTANTINE rises. Once KONSTANTINE is almost back up to his feet, Maxwell hits a clubbing axe handle to KONSTANTINE's back! KONSTANTINE walks away in pain, opposite the exposed corner as Maxwell turns him back around and whips him towards it - KONSTANTINE reversing - Maxwell running headfirst before stopping himself with the ropes! Maxwell seems to breath a sigh of relief, turning back around - BIG BOOT from KONSTANTINE! Maxwell's head turns from the impact, bouncing off the corner violently as KONSTANTINE rolls him up from behind!

TWO!
THR/NO!

Maxwell kicks out, avoiding the loss but remaining on the mat before barely lifting his face to reveal that he's bleeding from his forehead. Meanwhile, KONSTANTINE gets back to his feet at yells out to the fans, "You wanted blood, didn't you!?"

Matt Baily - Maxwell managed to kick out, but the impact with that turnbuckle has caused him to wear a crimson mask!

West Newhaven - It's only a matter of time until we have a winner! Maxwell can't possibly last much longer!

KONSTANTINE seems to agree, setting Maxwell up as he walks to the corner and scouts his opponent. Setting up for the Apocalypse Now, KONSTANTINE runs in as Maxwell is barely getting to his knees - Maxwell catching the soccer kick attempt and holding onto KONSTANTINE's leg! Maxwell shakes his head "No!" KONSTANTINE angry as Maxwell rises back to his feet, holding KONSTANTINE's leg the entire time. KONSTANTINE tries to punch, his arms not quite reaching as Maxwell finally throws his leg back down, and pulls him in with a side headlock before biting the top of KONSTANTINE's head! Maxwell lets go, bringing him back in and taking KONSTANTINE down with a Snap Suplex! As KONSTANTINE hits the mat, Maxwell checks his face and sees that his hand is now covered in blood as well. Showing a bit of wooziness, the fans seem to keep him in the match as their chants cause him to look out on them before licking some of the blood of his hand and spitting onto the ring mat!

The fans love it, Maxwell turning back to KONSTANTINE who remains grounded and pulls him toward the center of the ring, setting him up in a Camel Clutch! Maxwell starts to chant "USA, USA, USA" The referee checks for a submission, KONSTANTINE refusing to give up before Maxwell starts rubbing some of the blood left on his hand onto KONSTANTINE's face!

West Newhaven - Maxwell's seemingly mocking Prince Assad's submission from the last match! What a disgusting individual! Here we are in nice looking suits talking about a man who's covering his opponent with his blood and who earlier bit off one of his fingernails!

Matt Baily - You said it yourself, it's all about those mind games! And while we argue that Maxwell's not all there, his strategy seems to be working! KONSTANTINE's got nowhere to go!

KONSTANTINE seems irate, Maxwell asking the ref to keeping checking for a submission as the crowd cheers and KONSTANTINE starts to rock his body! Maxwell tries to keep KONSTANTINE still, Devin finally getting enough momentum to unbalance Maxwell and to roll Schneider off of him! Maxwell quickly jumps back up, charging in and meeting a forearm smash that stops his momentum! KONSTANTINE grabs him from behind, lifting him up and then back down with a Lifting Reverse DDT! With that, KONSTANTINE wipes Maxwell's blood from his face, slinging some of it back on the grounded Maxwell before once again stomping viciously with a mean looking grimace!

Matt Baily - He's snapped West! KONSTANTINE's lost it, and now I'm fearing for Maxwell's safety in there!

West Newhaven - You're right to fear, Matt! KONSTANTINE's vicious side is something you never want to see!

After a flurry of stomps, KONSTANTINE gets to his knees and pulls Maxwell's head up off the mat. KONSTANTINE, in his anger, slaps Maxwell continuously in the face! Maxwell's face is bright red, KONSTANTINE trying to calm down as the crowd boos him and his actions loudly.

Looking to do more damage, KONSTANTINE finally pulls Maxwell back up to his feet, draping him onto his shoulder and pointing to the still exposed corner.

Matt Baily - He's trying to steal Maxwell's finisher, The KYD!

West Newhaven - Insult to injury, Matt! This is it!

As KONSTANTINE runs toward the corner, Maxwell manages to get loose, falling to his feet as this time KONSTANTINE stops himself from hitting the turnbuckle headfirst. KONSTANTINE knows he's in a dangerous spot, turning back around with a wild discus punch which Maxwell ducks under! As KONSTANTINE spins back around, Maxwell lifts him and hits a Scoop and a Slam-wich with authority! The crowd is feeling it, Maxwell pointing to the opposite and still covered corner where he lifts KONSTANTINE back up and hits a second Scoop and a Slam-wich! KONSTANTINE seems hurt, Maxwell lifting him a second time and onto his shoulders, running to the opposite corner and hitting him into it before spinning around and landing with the KYD!

Maxwell goes for the cover!

Brenden Reynalds: HERE IS YOUR WINNER! MAXWEEEELLLLL SCHNEIDER!

Matt Baily - A hard fought match from both men who will no doubt be dominate here in The RWD!

West Newhaven - I can't believe out main event was won by this trash! This is infuriating! KONSTANTINE deserved that victory, Matt!

As West argues with himself and starts to threaten the referee, Matt stays seated and refuses to participate in his partner's antics. With that, the main event has ended and the crowd is rejoicing in Maxwell's victory as he celebrates by writing a V on the mat with a little blood of the blood still leaking from his forehead. The referee checks on both men, the show cutting away as they clear the ring...
